Looks good, but poor protection

I thought that I would wait 2 months or so after I purchased this item to produce a more accurate assessment. Whilst first impressions were great - the protective screen film and body case fit like a glove, and look and feel almost non-existent - I soon realised it wasn't all what it was cracked up to be. After a few weeks I realised I had to periodically remove the body case to clean trapped dust. Disappointingly, the dust had already managed to create light (and quite noticable) scratches along the surface of the outer metal trim of iphone. Everytime I went to clean the outer case, I noticed more little scratches. I got fed up with it, and have decided to remove it completely. The protective screen film seems to be doing the job, but I am disappointed with this product given the excessive pricetag. My advice is to look elsewhere!

Gives the neatest coverage of the iphone - if a bit pricey. What a shame it only comes in clear & black. It would be good to have a larger choice of covers.

It's sleek and slim, and that's all it's got going for it. After taking the case off, the sides of the chrome bezel are all scratched up!!!!!!!!Buy @ your own risk.

I've Found the One!!!

I finally found the perfect case/screen protector. All the other cases I've tried cause air bubbles on the sides of the screen protectors. A lot of other cases also do not come with screen protectors. This is the perfect combo, no air bubbles, the Screen protectors are very high quality and the case is easy to take off and install. This is the 7th case I've tried.

I love the sleekness and minimal difference in thickness this case adds to the ihpne however the paint ships away and it ends up looking a right mess - I assume the clear one is fine but the black one after a couple of months ends up trashed!

After trying a couple of cases with my 3G, this case was the one that I ended up keeping. I originally had the Invisible Shield for my iPhone, but after awhile the edges began to peal away at the corners. I didn't want to go with a case that added any weight, bulk or took away from the clean look of the 3G. This case is simple, clean and there is virtually no difference in weight with the case on the iPhone or the iPhone itself. If you are looking for something to protect your 3G from scratches and don't want a bulking case, this is the case to get....

I bought this case in November and it still holds up well. I've gooten a LOT of complements about how cool this case is, most people don't even know it's on the phone. It has cracked in several spots, but nothing too bad. It also scratches, but hey isn't that the point, the case scraches so the phone won't. I've tried all types of cases, most of which caused more damage to my 1st gen iphone than it would have recieved unprotected. The one I hated the most was the Agent 18, it caused massive scratches along the back. This case is by far the best I've ever used. I'm really happy and am probably going to buy another soon. The only thing I didn't like was the screen protector combo, I really wish they had an option of 2 glossy or 2 antiglare. I personally hate the anti-glare, so that seems a waste of money.

Yes, this is a genuine case. I was very happy with the case till the day I removed the case from my iphone. The case has seriously scratched the chromed metallic lining along the sides of the phone. This is likely due to the pressure that it exerts on the phone to keep it in place. Ironically, the very item i bought to protect the phone has damaged it.

A little expensive, for what it is, but I think this is the best case there is. It protects the phone from minor knocks and scratches without changing it's appearance. If anything, the clear version enhances the phone by making it shinier and easier to keep hold of.

Nicely designed but the moment I opened the box and tried to install on iPhone, it already had a tiny scratch. Within less than 24 hrs, the surface was covered with numerous scratches and it looked like being used for months, although the use in 24 hrs was at home. Because the sides are below the screen level, protection on screen side is questionable (film has been installed). Overall, it is an extremely disappointing product and I feel I wasted the money.
