Electronics Recycling Program - Advanced Disposal Surcharge
Suppliers of all desk top computers, notebook computers, printers or associated components supplying in or into Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan are legally required to collect and remit electronic recycling fees as approved by Provincial governments.
Electronic recycling fees are used to cover the costs of collection, transportation, storage, processing and disposal of electronic waste.
How are the fees applied?
You will need to select the appropriate part number(s) displayed on Apple's web-page and indicated below prior to checking out. Selecting the appropriate part number(s) will add the fee to your shopping cart. You may add the electronic recycling fee part numbers to your order at any time, prior to checkout. Please note that the fee is per unit ordered i.e. 3 iMacs ordered = 3 x $22 = $66. The quantity can be amended in your shopping cart by clicking 'Edit cart'.
Note: It is important to select the appropriate electronic recycling fee at time of ordering as it may delay the processing of your order.
Apple Canada reserves the right to charge the applicable electronic recycling fee in the event that the customer does not incorporate the fee on their order as applicable.

In accordance with Provincial legislation, all fees charged are subject to GST.
