Overview
The Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad features an elegant, ultrathin anodized aluminum enclosure with low-profile keys that provide a crisp, responsive feel. It also has function keys for one-touch access to a variety of Mac features such as screen brightness, volume, eject, play/pause, fast-forward and rewind, Exposé, and Dashboard. Its extended layout includes document navigation controls — page up, page down, home, and end — and full-size arrow keys for playing games and scrolling through documents. Its numeric keypad is perfect for spreadsheets and finance applications. And two USB 2.0 ports enable you to connect your mouse as well as a high-speed peripheral such as a digital camera or printer.

Love the solid aluminum construction. The keys are actually chiclet-type keys that are silent, smooth, and great for touch typists…Read more like me. I actually enjoy using this keyboard! (I've been a PC user for 20+ years and switched to Macs recently). Love it!

I just bought this keyboard a couple of days ago and it is, without a doubt,
the smoothest and quietest keyboard I have ever used…Read more. It's short key
travel makes it fast and responsive and a real pleasure to use. It is
so sleek and takes up a lot less room on the desktop than other keyboards.

Hooked up the new keyboard today and its is a real site to behold. Very thin and lite weight. The new key design has a great fee…Read morel and very large keys so you don't make many mistakes.
THE ONE PROBLEM I HAVE WITH IT IS the two usb ports will not support an ipod. I have the video Ipod and I get a warning that the USB power is too low to power the attached device. I bought this key board to clear away clutter on my desk and hopefully eliminate a few cords. Unfortunately its not true and I was disappointed. I am very much an apple fan but the low USB ports were a not as advertised on the website.(2408 of 3863 people found this review useful)

Well, on the OS X side this is the best keyboard I've ever had. Took a little while to get the feel of it, but now it's second-na…Read moreture. Once problem...Boot Camp. This little baby uses Function keys for audio up and down and brightness, and Vista really didn't like it. Sadly, I'm going to have to keep using my old keyboard until they update BootCamp to work with this new keyboard. That's why I'm only giving three stars. Otherwise, it'd be a full FIVE, baby!
