This handy cable does double duty: It syncs and charges your iPhone or iPod, and it charges your iPhone Bluetooth Headset. Just plug it into a computer or an Apple USB Power Adapter.

Good Sound With Too Many Drawbacks

1. The battery life is almost comically short. I found myself having to recharge the unit after almost every conversation and they weren't any longer than 20 minutes.
2. The unit constantly disconnects from the iPhone. This is incredibly annoying when someone calls while the two are charging together (which is pretty much all the time, thanks to point 1) and you try to answer on the headset, only to find that the handset isn't interested in working with it anymore.
3. It's a headset that won't stay on your head. Either I missed the piece of scotch tape to hold it against your head in the packaging or I have freakishly large ears, but the unit will not stay put, no matter how still you try to hold yourself.(4 of 4 people found this review useful)

Sound was terrible. My ear buds for my ipod work just fine and I can hear everything just perfectly. I was told, if you liked th…Read moree ear buds, then you would like this bluetooth headset. Even when the ringer on my iphone was turned up all the way, I still couldn't hear them. I had to push the bluetooth piece into my ear and cup my hand around the ear so i could hear them. I found it was MUCH easier to just use the iphone like an actual phone. I used it for a couple of days and started looking for a replacement.

This is a great piece of hardware, but just take into consideration a few things before you go buying it on its looks.
1. If yo…Read moreu are lazy and/or have your hands full a lot and plan on using this while walking around, you're going to be disappointed. I've tested it a lot and it really loses sound quality while it and the phone are in constant motion.
2. If you've ever had a problem with iPod headphones falling out of your ear, this will too. As you can see, it offers no support other than the earbud, and if that doesn't fit well, you can rest assured you'll step all over this thing or lose it in a puddle in no time.
On the plus side of things,
1. If you're only going to use this while driving due to laws that restrict cell phone use, You'll be happy with this thing, its simple, easy to use, and has pretty good sound quality. ( I don't think anyone has ever complained about how I sound through the phone while im using it, and I can certainly hear everything as well.)

The apple bluetooth headset is the biggest piece of junk I've ever purchased from apple.
Pros:
* The ba…Read morettery life isn't bad.
* You have to like the on-screen battery indicator for power and charging.
* Gotta like the magsafe
Cons:
* The range is *awful*. The worst bluetooth headset I've ever owned, and I've worn out several. It's so bad I can't have my phone in my right front pocket and have the headset in my left ear. It is functional if the phone is in your hand or on your desk. Which half negates the whole point of a BT headset.
* Unlike the docs say, this headset actually *unpairs* when you drop it in the charger. Not to mention it will regularly unpair itself (even when you're on the phone.)
* This may vary from person to person, but the fit is really poor. I can't keep this in my ear.
* Crazy expensive for what you get - especially now that it no longer comes with the dual dock.
Love both my first gen iphone, love my 3g, love my MBP. But the bluetooth is trash. The cons far outweigh the pros.(1292 of 1552 people found this review useful)

Too light, doesn't fit the ear well at all, falls out really easily, and after a 3 foot fall, broke and gave constant heavy static…Read more. How Apple sells such a piece of garbage is shocking. I know many of my associates tried this one, we all had it fall out of our ears a lot, and they all broke very easily. Total waste of money. I give it one star only because you can't post a review without at least one star.
