    Disappointed

After reading all the positive reviews of this bag I was excited to receive mine. My experience so far has been disappointing.

TRead morehere are three major flaws with this bag:
    1. The main padded compartment is too large. I could two or three 13" MBPs in there.
    2. The cellphone compartment is too small for an iPhone with a rubber case. The rubber makes it very difficult to get the phone in & out of the tight compartment. I've taken the rubber case off but the top half inch of the phone is still unprotected.
    3. The carrying handle is very poorly positioned and gets in the way when carrying this bag as a messenger bag.

This being said - I've actually considered getting the bag tailored. That must be a testament to it's positive qualities (and why I've given it two stars). The carrying strap itself is very comfortable and the bag has a lot of convenient pockets. Ultimately these features don't make up for the bugs. My suggestion: "don't buy."

Although this bag is a little loose in the fit for the 13" MacBook Pro, I still really like this bag. It has storage space beyond Read moremy wildest expectations, and it just looks incredibly cool. I get a lot of compliments on the bag and the computer too!

    GREAT for your laptop only

My 12" Powerbook fits great and seems to be well protected. The bag is very comfortable and good looking. The section that is for Read morebooks and papers is slim. It will fit only a few files or one text book. Pencil pouch will fit a graphing calculator or a small reading book. I bought the bag for a trip to europe, and it worked great. Take note that there is no lockable section.

this is the perfect companion for my black beauty macbook. i was worried it wouldn't have enough space for extra stuff like most lRead morearger cases i've seen. my mac is very well protected thanks to the thick yet sleek padding. plus there is another section big enough for another macbook which i keep the charger, power chord, and papers in. there are three other zippered compartments big enough for manuals, restore discs, CDs, ipod charger, front row remote, and other random stuff. in the inside pocket, there is a little detachable clip with a key ring for keys flash drives or anything else to put on a key ring. the pocket thing on the strap is perfect for cell phones, it holds my nano easily, and can most likely give ipod video a nice snug fit. i really didn't like the fact it looked grey in the picture, but ince you get it it is actualy more black. it is very stylish and compact. i highly recomend it for the function, style, and price.

Handsome Bag With Protection and Storage Space. Five Stars

This is a very nice bag for the MacBook 13". Very well made, a nice compartment for the MacBook and plenty of storage for the MagRead moresafe powercord.

Obviously there is not a lot out yet for the new MacBook. This is the bag for those complaining about lack of storage space in the Brenthaven 13" Edge case. I thought about getting the Brenthaven but wanted something that could be self contained with all the accesories I would need for a trip. Problem solved. I am sure there will be other stuff out in the near future but you won't go wrong buying the STM Small Alley.

The color is darker than what it appears to be in this photograph which is fine as it won't show dirt like some of the other crazy colors you see.

Quality strap and handle and several storage compartments. There is a little pouch on the strap that is too small for the power cord. I think maybe it would be just right for an iPod. My Shuffle would definitely fit with ear buds and all. Probably the Nano too. I plan to get a neoprene sleave when they finally come out in the 13" format and use that in conjunction with the Small Alley. Though I think the Alley has pretty good protection on it's own.
