I've used this keyboard for 3 years. It's works. What can I say? It's very cheap and allows you to play and compose. Hook it up toRead more your Mac, open Garageband and you have the most amazing sounds. My MacPro is digitally connected to my surround sound system. When I play using a church organ my neighbours know it! It's truly grand.

    A Great Purchase!

I've been using this keyboard for around 3 years. I was a music major in college and used this mainly for writing purposes. It synRead morecs perfectly with Garageband and is perfect for synth/drum use. The touch on this is a little off. You have to be careful when using strings or piano on this because of the touch. After about two years of hard use, some of the keys started to get sticky, but it's probably because of all the miles it's got on it. Don't get this keyboard if you're looking for perfect sensitivity or weighted/semi-weighted keys. It's a great midi controller. Alongside Garageband, this keyboard is great for anyone doing solo work or small projects. Anything more professional, look at the 61 keystation or atleast one with weighted keys.

Very disappointed it doesn't work with Leopard

I am new to the mac community and making music was the whole reason I purchased a mac in the first place. I was very excited to geRead moret this keystudio 49 and I had huge plans to use this on my new mac. Problem is my mac is brand new 20" alum with Leopard installed. This keystudio is not even recognized by the mac, and furthermore; the M-audio website for support doesn't even have an idea when the drivers will be released to use this product with new imacs. Kind of hard to believe that when Steve Jobs revealed the new leopard OS he talked of the great relationship apple has with m-audio. I beg to differ my friend.
