Don't have to leave my phone or iPod lying on the floor to charge like all the shorter cords make you do. Charged both my iPod and Razr in record time! Definately a must have for iPod owners!

I also took it to the philippines and accidentally plugged it in a 220-volt outlet (in the US, the standard outlet is 110-volts, and in PI, my grandparent's house contain both 110 & 220-volt outlets) and it still charged perfectly.

This does not work for the older 20 GB Ipods that use Firewire cables. It will not charge the Ipod even though it plugs in. fortu…Read morenately it did not damage the unit, just gives a battery fault indication making me beleive that my battery was blown.
