The I-Sonic ES2 delivers an acoustic technology breakthrough that makes it possible to enjoy rich, dynamic stereo sound throughout any room. Polk Audio's exclusive I-Sonic 4-speaker array, advanced digital signal processing, and patented PowerPort bass all work together to create a full 360-degree stereo sound field.
Even better, the I-Sonic ES2 combines Polk Audio's unique acoustic system with a built-in iPod dock and HD Radio--the world's first to offer iTunes Tagging. Just push the Tag button any time you hear songs you like on HD Radio broadcasts. Then, you can preview, buy, and download them all from an iTunes Tagged playlist when you sync your iPod with iTunes.
iTunes Tagging
The I-Sonic ES2 is the first iPod accessory with this feature. Used in conjunction with HD Radio and your iPod classic or third-generation iPod nano, it's a snap to buy tagged songs from the Apple iTunes Music Store. Here's how:
- Tune into any HD Radio station with the I-Sonic ES2. When you hear a tune you like, press the Tag button on the I-Sonic ES 2. The Tag data is stored for future reference. (You can store up to 50 songs.)
- Dock your iPod classic or iPod nano in the I-Sonic ES2 and the Tags are transferred automatically to your iPod.
- Sync the iPod with your computer and your tagged songs will appear in a Tagged Playlist in iTunes. You can then preview and purchase that song directly from the iTunes Store.
HD Radio
More than 1,500 HD Radio stations coast to coast are beaming 100% digital FM or AM broadcasts. So with the I-Sonic ES2 you can get CD-quality sound from the FM stations and FM-quality sound from AM stations. There's no hiss or static like traditional radio. HD Radio Multi-casting also lets you discover hidden content on new digital stations in-between the stations you listen to now. And it's completely free.

New Firmware make a great product better

I have had the I-Sonic ES2 for few months and its just a great product. Sound is amazing and the product is very well made. I hav…Read moree used it with my iPhones and never a bad noise from the phones which is apparently not the case with other products. It even mutes the music gently when I get a call.
I called Polk because I couldn't get video from my new 3G iPhone. Polk just released new firmware which you can download from Polk's website and loaded into the i-sonic with a usb drive. It was very easy to do. Now the videos on my iPhone play through the I-Sonic and on my TV. And you can now use the iPod as an alarm!
You gotta love it when a company sells you a great product and then adds features to it for free! Thanks Polk...
