Neither happened. The armband stayed on for the whole 2 hours. The funny thing about it is that it looked like some type of life support monitor from Star Trek. Great product and I which they had stuff like this when I bought the first generation iPod.

I like the incase sports armband for the ipod touch because it was very durable and light-weight for almost any type of work-out. …Read morealso it wa a perfect fit for my ipod. the one thing that i do not like about this product is that my ipod fell out of the case once or twice during a work out which damaged it. other then that I don't think it could get much better.

I've been using the case/arm band for the past 3 weeks. The iPod touch fits in very snug and I'm unsure how it could possibly slip…Read more out as mentioned. I have large arms and there is not problem with the fit. The clear panel works flawlessly. The only complaint, is the thread started coming undone after a week and after a couple weeks the velcro was barely attached and I had to find a place to have it re-stitched. Other than that, it's the best arm band case that I've used to date.
