It will not react to the adapter and only works off the batteries. The radio does not work or even turn on. My ipod won't even play music off it and the light does not turn on either. If this is what I get for $100 then it really is not worth. What the heck am I supposed to do with a broken alarm clock!

I was ready to …Read morebox it up and see if I could return it when on a whim checked the Apple site and reviews of this product. Luckily, someone wrote in their review NOT to use the docking tray. Thank goodness they took the trouble to add that - mine worked the second I took the tray out. Saying that, this is a messed up feature! Bet there are a lot of people out there that return it or mess with it forever trying to get it to work.

I tried the Altec Lansing T612 before this and was not impressed, especially for the $199 price tag. This was a happy medium. Also, there is no phone interference when getting a call, no static. It has AM & FM, an alarm and sleep you can set to your phone or radio or buzzer... IT's AWESOME... I tried every feature. I even have AOL radio and was able to play it through the iHOME from my iphone. FABULOUS! I love the remote , which unlike others i have seen, can work the ipod menu functions. GREAT for the price. I've been wanting to get an iHome for a while now and finally picked one up. The iP9 is a great little dock. Surprisingly good bas…Read mores and clarity. I'm around these things all day (I'm a Specialist) and I think this sounds just as good as any of the other docks that are twice the price, and don't even have the included alarm clock. The 3D EQ setting is sweet, makes a huge difference. Works with my iPhone with no problems. Music fades and your ringtone will sound in and play through the speakers when receiving a call.

The speaker volume is great and the sound quality is amazing for a clock radio. The ease of use is nice and one of the best features is the ability to dim the display to several different levels, even turning it off but yet still have the alarm come on.
