Overview

The VTrak Expansion Chassis expands the capacity of a VTrak E-Class RAID subsystem while providing the same reliability and performance of the drives in the RAID subsystem unit. Fully redundant I/O modules, power supplies, and cooling units, combined with a cable-less internal system design provide exceptional data availability even during component failures.

With large VTrak deployments worldwide, enterprise users have come to rely on Promise Technology to protect their valuable data. The Promise VTrak E-Class supports attachment of up to four J-Class expansion chassis, providing 80TB of raw capacity using 1TB SATA drives for high-capacity storage applications such as tiered storage, disk-to-disk backup, or archive.
