Many of my photos from this camera are blurry - in the same lighting conditions that my Canon Rebel FILM camera takes great shots. I'm looking for an alternate.

I'd say this... EOS 20D! Rebel XT feels like a childs toy!

I'd say from personal experience... Spend the fex extra $ to get the EOS 20D! It has better features than the rebel XT! AND it has a metal body and metal lenses... which makes for a camera that lasts MUCH longer and is also more resistant to cracks, drops etc. When I held the Rebel XT and the EOS 20D I noticed a world of a difference... the rebel looks like a childs toy and the 20D has a sexy pro feel to it! If your going to get a Canon.. get a good one!
