I got these speakers on my birthday in the summer. First of all they are the best looking speakers around. The sound is amazing and you can set the base to how you like. If you want full base i would advise that you put it off the floor because you will not get the sound quality it offers.
These speakers are very loud and the quality is amazing. Although expensive they are worth every penny. I have not had a single problem with the speakers.

Bowers and Wilkins; normally that name is sufficient to inspire and create images of great sound in your head, the powerful bass, the clear midranges and sparkling highs is what we have come to expect from Bowers and Wilkins and that’s before the speakers start pumping out sound. If you own the 800 series you know what is being referred to, but if you own the Nautilus then all words need to stop. The Zeppelin is just as good as its bigger siblings, not only in looks but sound as well.
But to be fair I will put it this way, if you need to fill a large hall with sound that blows the knickers off your guests then the 800 series in a 7.1 configuration should be called upon. But if you want to fill your room with the sound just responsible for embarrassing all your guests then go for a Zeppelin.
No one else has anything that comes close in this category.

I really love my Zeppelin. Sounds great with a great bass kick that is lacking in most of these, plus it looks great.

It sounds great. It looks great. But mine only worked for six months before it started arbitrarily shutting down on it's own. I couldn't hate it more than I do. If you're thinking about getting one, think twice. It's a lot of money for something that only works for a short while. A very disappointing product.

I use this thing to play my audio out from my Dish Network Satellite using the digital out. WOW! the sound is clear. Nothing competes with the sound quality. If you can afford it go for it, you will not regret it!

B&W quality and sound

Bought this recently to compare to my Apple computer ipod speaker system. The Zeppelin is top shelf. Very full sound for the small speakers. Beautiful design and excellent sound quality. Noticeably better sound than my apple speakers. I also own the B&W 804 stereo speakers. George Lucas uses the B&W system in his home and I'll always be saving for that system. This is another in the line of quality sound from the company. You won't be disappointed.

Crisp highs and mids. Base is so strong I had to adjust it to the lowest setting. Sounds really good with the Rock and Alternative genres. Very solid/quality construction - feels/looks/sounds expensive (Because it is right!)
I'm very satisfied with the Zep and would recommend it if you're looking for (and willing to pay top-dollar for) the best iPod speaker system on the market.(20 of 26 people found this review useful)

Has replaced my entire sound system

I don't own any other "high-end" audio equipment but I knew that after spending literally thousands of dollars on iphones and ipods; it's quite funny how people seem to try and save on a sound system or a 99 or 199 solution. When that system would be responsible for reproducing everything you own...
So I tried everything from Bose, Harman Kardon, Logitech...etc. But the B&W Zep is really the best - and this from the ears of my wife in a large showroom, ENCOURAGING me to purchase this system!
Another thing to note - B&W has worked closely with Apple on this so that you can output video from iphones and 5g ipods to a tv WITHOUT needing the apple video cables. Yes it works seamlessly for my two iphones too!(36 of 40 people found this review useful)

High End Audio/Much Better Than BOSE

Some people think BOSE makes high end audio devices. I am not one of them. In a 'Pepsi Challenge', the B&W Zeppelin walks away from the BOSE SoundDock; and while it may be considerably more to buy, the price is well worth it. Why buy junk that's been marketed well when you can have something brilliant created by people who care about music.
