Sennheiser MM50 iP Stereo Headset for iPhone
home run!

i can hear a lot of details that i was missing before. the seal is great-- take a few minutes to experiment with the tips. if you hear no bass, try a new tip. the tips stay on unlike the bose ones. the in-line mic picks up my voice CLEARLY and is located closer to the mouth than most mics and sounds like i am close. nobody has complained. with iPhone, the button has a few features that i will talk about. While in a call with an incoming call, pressing the button places the first call on hold and answers the new one. if you hold the button for 3 seconds it will volley back to the first call.press the button once during a song and it will stop playback of the song. press it again to resume the song. If you press the button quickly twice, it will skip forward to the next song. during a song and call it will stop music and answer the call. When you press the button again, ends call and resumes playback.

Rock Out with your Sennheiser Out
Written by TH

Ok, so lets talk about headsets. I love my music and I needed something portable and high end. I did some searching and my buddy told me to get some v-moda's. So I did (mistake!). They were ok (for 2 months), sound quality was not much better then my apple in-ears. But what really upset me was when they broke. I sent them in, nothing physically wrong, just very static sound and I was told that they would not fix them. Real nice investment huh? So I spent about 2 hours learning about what was available and saw these. Side by side against everything else I saw, they seemed to be the best. So I bought a pair. I love my new headset. The sound clarity and bass output is amazing, they are very comfortable, and I am also a big fan of having the wire go behind the neck. Oh yea, added bonus, 2 year warranty.

The One You've Been Waiting For...

Finally - quality in-ear headphones compatible with the iPhone. Toss out those assorted goofy adapters! These offer direct compatibility with the original (2007) iPhone jack and has an in-line mic/switch. Sound quaility is very good. Excellent balance of bass, medium and high ranges (this is subjective I know). No distortion even at maximum volume (this is extremely loud too). I prefer in-ear phones as they mitigate outside noise (NYC) and cannot be heard by people around you except at high volumes. Granted, has the same drawbacks of this design (wire-rubbing noise, in-ear placement comfort, potentially dangerous obliviousness to environmental sounds). But for me its simply a perfect combination of sound quality and function - no qualifications.

HOW TO WEAR THE HEADSET
Written by TH from Clinton
13-Nov-2008
Ok, this has been posted many times, yet people still feel the need to write about the design of the headset not being correct, one side is longer then the other. IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE THIS WAY!
The left ear bud goes directly into your ear, and the right ear bud wraps BEHIND your neck into your right ear. This is more of a European style (wow a German company, imagine that). It is a much more comfortable feel when wearing, this places the mic where it needs to be and it gets the cables out of the way, verses hanging directly in front of you.
READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU WRITE ONE.
I love this headset, enough said.

Blame the product when you don't understand it...
Written by RT from BROOKLYN

If you are worry about purchasing this product due to other people commenting that it has poor ergonomics and how the cord flaps around or that it does not hang as a perfect "Y", don;t listen to them because they do not know how to use it.
The design is meant to keep the cords AWAY from being directly in front of you so you can do your things while enjoying your music or engage in a conversation. The longer cord goes BEHIND your neck so it eliminates clutter in front. 'nuff said.(68 of 73 people found this review useful)

Awesome headset!
Written by RG from Mississauga

I'm no audiophile by any means, but I am very happy with this headset so far.
I'm hearing little nuances in songs that I previously wouldn't hear, and the overall sound quality is awesome.
When I was looking for a new headset I was looking for a pair that would not fall out of my ears, and one that would have better sound than the standard headset that comes with the iPhone. This product definitely meets both those needs.
One thing to get used to is the fact that you essentially have ear plugs in your ears, so when you are talking on the phone your own voice sounds muffled and muted which I'm sure is the case will all similarly designed buds.
For people with similar needs as I had I would definitely recommend this product... 5 stars.
I'm not sure what the connoisseurs of high end audio will think, but I'm sure we'll hear them chime in soon.
Cheers.(52 of 57 people found this review useful)

Wow! Incredible Sound and Comfort Too
Written by JC from Scottsdale
28-Oct-2008
The original ear buds that came with my iPhone were okay, but not great. I used a pair of Shure EC3s with an adaptor cable which allowed me to make calls. The sound was excellent but I ended up with a ton of cable to roll up or let hang and catch on things. I bought this product based on previous Sennheiser experience with large on the ear headphones and my trust in the manufacturer was rewarded and then some.
Not only are these FAR more comfortable than the EC3s, but the sound is better. The seal in the ear canal is perfect and simple to achieve (unlike EC3). The asymmetrical cord makes sense and it gets the microphone control closer to the face without being in the way. My first outbound call was met with "Wow. What kind of phone are you using?"
Sound quality is phenomenal. Bass response is robust and I was even able to switch my EQ to treble boost to bring up the high end and I just sat back in amazement. For all music genres from classical to Latin, choral to spoken word, these rock!(31 of 35 people found this review useful)

Good buy for the sound quality
Written by DW from HOLYOKE

The sound quality is great, considering the source is compressed files (MP3). Compression kills sound quality, but what is left is brought out very well by these headphones. The midrange is exceptionally realistic, and the soundstage is dead center. The bass can be boomy in the low end (20-43.5Hz), but otherwise tight.
The only complaint I have is the plastic used in the wires is textured PVC which sticks to EVERYTHING and pulls the buds out of your ears. Turn your head and the plastic sticks to your neck and the buds pull out of your ears. If these headphones had a "slick" wire coating they would be near perfect.(31 of 37 people found this review useful)

Great sound and they stay in the ear.
Written by JN from Lake Stevens

These provide great sound. Much better dynamic range than the stock iphone 3g earbuds. The ear canal earbuds fit very comfortably and don't come loose. I'm happy with the quality plus the 2 yr warranty. The mic has an on/off button and the status of the mic- on or off displays at the top of the phone. Handy if you need to mute the mic. This is the first aftermarket headset I've bought so I give it four stars as compared to the stock earbuds which would be one star.

This headset is fantastic
Written by AC from Brooklyn

I've tried several headsets and these are the best I've found so far. The sound quality is fantastic--but don't forget to adjust the EQ settings on your iphone to get the best sound for the type of music you're listening to.
I've not had a problem with the mic at all and people can hear me clearly when I speak into it--without having to hold it up to my mouth. The microphone pendant also works just like the pendent on the apple headset by the way--one click for pause, two clicks to advance to the next song, etc. The earbuds are very comfortable and come in three sizes.
One note, the wire for your left side is very short while the other is very long--this is because the longer cable is meant to go BEHIND your head. It's not a defect or design flaw. This might be why some are having trouble with the mic--wearing the long cable behind your head causes the mic to naturally stay closer to your mouth.(25 of 28 people found this review useful)
