This item is a horrible product. For $100 it should be top quality. I looks streamline, and it intends to do what we all want it to do, but it fails...MISERABLY. I am surprised apple sells it on its own site.

I don't normally write reviews, however, I was so disappointed with this product, that I could not resist. It charged my iphone 3g as promised, but the loud squeal I received when trying to play music either from the supplied aux input cord, or a headset 3.5mm jack was unbearable. I even received a message saying it was incompatible. Great concept, terrible execution. If you're willing to risk the 10% restocking fee and price to mail back the product, go for it.

In the description, this is exactly what I wanted. It seemed like a great product. However, when I set it up in my car, I was immediately disappointed. There is a loud buzzing sound getting picked up from the car's engine. The faster I go, the worse it is. I couldn't listen to it for more than a few minutes. When the car is turned off, it sounded great. I returned it and am looking for another product.
