Bluetooth technology, ultimate portability
With its secure, reliable Bluetooth technology, wireless Mighty Mouse goes wherever you do. Pair it with any Bluetooth-enabled Mac to work untethered and uncluttered at your desk or on the go, and it operates with either one or two AA batteries — no bulky dock required.
Laser tracking engine
The wireless Mighty Mouse features a laser tracking engine that's up to 20 times more sensitive to surface details than traditional optical technology. That means it can track with precision on more surfaces than ever — even smooth or polished surfaces — with no mouse pad required.
Innovative Scroll Ball and button
Perfectly positioned to roll smoothly under just one finger, Mighty Mouse's Scroll Ball offers full 360-degree scrolling capability — up/down, left/right and diagonally. You can scroll long web pages, pan full-size images, maneuver around large spreadsheets, control a video timeline and more. And you can even click the Scroll Ball to access your favorite Mac OS X features such as Dashboard, Spotlight or Exposé.
Touch-sensitive top shell
It looks and feels like a sleek one-button mouse, but Mighty Mouse's smooth top shell hides a powerful secret: touch-sensitive technology under the shell detects which part of the mouse you're clicking, so you can both left-click and right-click. And if you prefer the simplicity of a classic one-button mouse, Mighty Mouse is up to the task. Just use the Mac OS X system preference pane to configure it how you want.
Force-sensing side buttons
When you give Mighty Mouse a squeeze, force-sensing side buttons can be configured to activate Mac OS X features such as Dashboard, Exposé or a whole host of other customizable features.
Customizable
Through the power of Mac OS X Tiger, Mighty Mouse gives you fingertip access to the special features you love. Simply use the system preference panel to configure Mighty Mouse in the way that makes you most powerful. Control the Scroll Ball's tracking, zoom and click functions, as well as the right, left and side click functions. And you even can set up different mouse profiles for every user account on your Mac.

I have had this for a while now and while it's good it's not perfect.
The mouse is comfy to use and the bluetooth functionality i…Read mores excellent. How ever it's not the most accurate of mice out there and the scroll ball can be a bit imprecise.
As others have found the right click can suddenly stop working, meaning I need to reboot the mouse.
While I do like the mouse I feel something like a MS optical mouse would be a better choice, and far cheaper too.(9 of 13 people found this review useful)

I'm a real Apple fan boy, but I must say I've found this product a bit disappointing. I'm on my third one of these so far in the …Read morelast two or three years. They are really superb when they're working, and that's the only reason I've spent so much on them to date.
Unfortunately however, I find that the scroll balls clog up eventually, and no amount of cleaning seems to sort them out for more than a day or two. Rubbing upside down on a piece of paper does work, but as I've found twice now if you're too vigorous, bits of rubber detach from inside the housing effectively ruining the mouse.
Great product, but just not reliable or robust enough for the price.(8 of 10 people found this review useful)

Please don't waste your money

I love Apple design and functionality. But sometimes design gets in the way of functionality, and this is a total failure.
Erg…Read moreonomically it kills your wrist, it feels 'imprecise' for design work or anything more than casual use, and yes, the scroll wheel is hopeless and clogs quickly.
Sometimes the buttons work, sometimes they don't. As much as I love Apple (and my company spends around £20K a year on Apple kit) the only thing we ever replace is these. With MS Intellimouse Explorers. And I REALLY don't like Microsoft.
Go figure.(869 of 1291 people found this review useful)

Apple are so weird. When they get it right, they're the best in the world. When they get it wrong, they do it SPECTACULARLY. And s…Read moreo it is with the Mighty Mouse. How could you design something on which the right click just doesn't work 50% of the time? How could you design something on which the scroll wheel regularly stops working because of a build up of dust inside (that you can't open to clean)?
Even a guy on Apple Support admitted to me that it was a 'product with problems'. I'm here to tell you to avoid at all costs. Don't waste your money.(825 of 1258 people found this review useful)
