JBL On Stage 200ID for iPod and iPhone
Amazing Sound Quality...

I just got these a few days ago from the Apple Store on 5th Avenue, alot cheaper than online here i must say :-P
But i was comparing the sound to the Bose speakers which were on display, and i must say these were the ones that came out on top. Excellent sound quality and bass, at a cheap price. I would defiantly recommend them!(106 of 111 people found this review useful)

JBL On Stage 200ID for iPod and iPhone
Excellent Choice

The bottom line is that this is an excellent speaker dock for your iPhone (or iPod). While it isn't as striking as some of JBL's designs it looks great in just about any setting. I would recommend going for the black one as it fits in with most decor and the iPhone in a nicer way. The best thing going for this speaker however is the trademark JBL sound which is really nice straight out of the box.
There are other speakers out there which are cheaper or louder but I think there are few out there which have the looks, small size, compatibility and sound in a single package. The sound is clean across the whole range, perhaps a bit bright at the high end sometimes and has a bass which belies its small size. Bass wise it isn't going to shake the room but most people out there will be amazed how deep and clear it is.
It includes a remote control that allows full use of the iPod section of your phone and a whole collection of dock adaptors which allow for any recent iPod to be connected. My old 3G iPod does not work with this unit so if you have an old iPod it is worth checking out what works before you buy. There are manual volume buttons on the unit too (the only controls on the unit) but no way to alter the tone. Happily you can use the EQ on your iPod if you feel it needs a tweak although I don't bother and it sounds fine.
It can be pushed very loud, easily filling a medium size room (or much bigger) and the fact it charges your iPhone even when the unit isn't powered on at the back make it an ideal extra charging point. You can't use it to sync to your computer however as there is no USB pass-through.
Overall this is a quality unit which is small, attractive, made for iPhone and sounds great. Even compared to the Bose unit, I would go for this one as it is much better value.(31 of 31 people found this review useful)

JBL On Stage 200ID for iPod and iPhone
Great speaker that really performs

I was looking to buy the Bose sound dock. I tried this in the U.S. as I had not seen it in the UK. I was blown away with the crisp, clear sound produced. The bass is strong and clear, not overpowering and does not take over from the rest of the sound. In my opinion as good, if not better than the Bose.
It would easily be suited to a small/medium sized room which it would not struggle to fill with great sound.
It looks great and the ipod charges at the same time. Comes with a remote control which allows scrolling through your music and menus. Aux input too for other devices
5 STARS!
