Easy wireless networking.
Connect your DSL or cable modem to Time Capsule, then quickly set it up with the easy-to-use AirPort Utility, which is included for both Mac OS X and Windows. Within minutes, you and up to 50 others can use your Mac computers or PCs to surf the web, stream video, share photos, and more — without wires.3
Simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi. 
For maximum range and compatibility, Time Capsule works simultaneously on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, allowing all the devices on the network to use the most efficient band automatically. And Time Capsule uses the latest 802.11n wireless technology so you can enjoy up to five times the performance and up to twice the range of 802.11g wireless networks.4

Replaced a Linksys N1 with a 1TB Time Capsule. Used my MacBook Pro to connect and I was fully operational in less than 30 minutes…Read more, which included connecting two Windows PCs and a wireless HP printer.

The Time Capsule makes backing up both painless and customizable. Security conscious? Different passwords for administering netwo…Read morerk and backup. More data than can fit? Exclude whatever folders or disks you like. Love redundancy? Keep the Capsule itself mirrored on an external drive as well. Oh, and the built-in Airport access / signal boost means one less single-purpose device to keep plugged in!

Just got this product. Reading on the internet to have it connect with existing network and was dreading the operation. But to my …Read moresurprise it went just fine. It connected wirelessly to netgear without a glitch. Brilliant piece of gear. Important note. When you first back up you need to use ethernet cable make sure that it connects to 1gig bit speed and you are off. Otherwise you might be waiting for quite a while before you manage to finish first back up.
