These headphones are classic Bose: They EQ in extra bass and high's to make it sound "good" to the average consumer. That extra bass makes the low-mids incredibly muddy, just as if you turned up the bass on a 3-band equalizer. What is comes down to is taste. If you love that booming bass and are willing to sacrifice mids, these are for you. But if you want headphones that are very "flat" sounding, with a true-to studio mix, go for something from Klipsch or JBL. I've heard a pair of Klipsch in-ears before, and I thought I was at home listening to my 3,000 dollar Polk Audio surround!! They produced incredibly clear and warm mids, crystal clear highs, and yes, everything from that 100hz booming bass to that very low 20hz bass. They are a little more expensive than the Bose, $130, but that extra $30 is worth it.

These earbuds are just Great. The sound is superb and they are surprisingly durable. The only problem I have with them are the tip…Read mores. They fall out easy and are hard to locate. I bought an extra set of tips at a Bose retail store a few months ago and I already lost 2 of the medium size. Besides the tip issue, these are the best earbuds I have ever used.

I had some sets of headphones before, among them Sennheiser, Apple's standard and Philips. A few weeks ago I decided to spend my money on a really good headset. First I bought the top model of Philips, the SHE 9850. Also great performance, but I found something was missing.. so I returned them and bought the BOSE In Ears. I will never regret this decision! A great product!! Really!! Crisp sound, superb bass, simply amazing! And people, yes it is a bit different in the beginning to make those earbuds fit and choose the right size, but once u found out they need to be in your auricle it's all good. Great comfort, the buds do not hurt after some time. I also love the design. Folks, look around on the market! 100$ for a BOSE of this class is a bargain! If you reconsider that you have to pay much more for the top models of Shure or Sennheiser, who don't perform better in any dimension, you should grab the opportunity and spend 100$ on the BOSE. Really, you can't spend your money in a better way!

(they're almost as good as the …Read moreheadphone version of these!)Now if you have looked at the poor reviews of this product that say the volume isn't loud enough, they must have horrible hearing because i can turn them up high enough to where my ears hurt. Also the falling out of your ears, yes they do feel weird at first but they don't fall out, nor do they have any sound problems.
