A shame it's split in two places

    Written by JR from bicester

I've owned this case for 10 months now and it's split/torn in two places. The first place is in the top right corner. It appears tRead morehere is some kind of join here which has split or come away. The size of the split is gradually increasing along the join. The second place is a tear in the bottom left hand corner.

The case/phone has received no rough usesage what so ever. It's just been taken in and out of my pocket, and I've only removed the case from the phone occasionally.

It's a nice looking case which provides a sure grip in the hand and feels like it would protect the phone if I dropped it. I think it could line up to the phone better; the hole for the camera lens isn't perfectly aligned for example (but doesn't interfere with image capture).

£20 is a lot of money to pay for a piece of moulded rubber, espcially if it splits.

    Good Case, Not very durable.

I bought this case in August 2008 from my new 3G, I've used it every day until nearly a year later but it has started to show it'sRead more age. The case is too thick to use with the 3G dock so has to be removed every time, this causes the rubber to mis shape and warp which has led to the case splitting along the top of the screen. So it's good for a year of use but i'm gonna have to order another soon.

    Disappointed

I got a protective cover Nov. '08. Other than the ripping out the hair thing, I was very happy with it. I've dropped my phone a Read morecouple times and the case saved it. Unfortunately, the case ripped at the headphone hole May '09. Incase sent me a free replacement which has already ripped in the same area. It looks like an issue with how the case is molded - mine didn't rip at one of the cosmetic features, and when I got the replacement, I saw the same mold defect that goes all the way to the edge, where the cosmetic stuff doesn't do that. I'm bummed. I can deal with the hair thing - I never look cool anyway so looking uncool doesn't bother me - but the rip in the case makes me nuts.

    Good, but not perfect

    Written by AR from SOUTHLAKE

Definitely one of the better cases out there, especially aesthetically - it blends in perfectly with a black iPhone. Offers very Read moregood protection for the phone, even for slight drops. Used in conjunction with a screen protector, the phone is essentially completely shielded.

The surface is great for holding onto the phone and typing, BUT, if you like to slip the phone into and out of a pocket, it grabs the fabric. A lot. That's my only complaint.

I have this case for first iPhone and loved it and now I have it for the 3G and its even better. Provides great protection withouRead moret losing any features the 3G has to offer.

If you buy a silcone case, do not get a flimsy one, you will regret it. This case is the best one out. PERIOD!
