Overview

Power Support’s revolutionary anti-glare film is what every iPhone 3G needs to be equipped with. With state of the art static cling adhesion, the precision cut films are easy to apply, and offer optimal protection for your LCD screen.

Installation instructions

1st Step: Thorough Cleaning

  • Clean your iPhone LCD screen with a lint free cloth and a small amount of glass cleaner. Ensure that all fingerprints and particles have been removed.
  • Wipe off any excess glass cleaner so that the screen is completely dry.

2nd Step (Pre-Installation Film): Removing any dust particles that may have fallen onto your screen.

  • Remove one half of the white backing of the pre-installation film.
  • Without touching the LCD screen directly with your fingers, place the half of the film without the backing onto the LCD screen.
  • Without touching the LCD screen, remove the second half of the backing. Apply the rest of the film to the LCD screen. Rub it down thoroughly to ensure that the Pre-Installation film has captured all dust particles.
  • Remove the Pre-Installation film by pulling it off by the excess film. Do not touch the LCD Screen.

3rd Step (Anti-Glare Film): Applying the Film

  • Without touching the adhesive side of the film, push down on the backing to expose the adhesive side.
  • Align the edge of the film with the bottom of the face of the iPhone. You can use the button or ear piece hole as alignment tools. Once a proper alignment is found, apply part of the film.
  • Without touching the face of the iPhone or the adhesive side of the film, allow for the rest of the film to apply by peeling off the rest of the backing from underneath the film.
  • Cover your finger in a lint-free cloth and rub out any air bubbles.

Note: Power Support’s Protective Screen Films come attached to a basic transparent plastic backing. Whenever applying films, you can touch either side of this transparent backing and the non-adhesive side of the film. However, do not touch the adhesive side of the film because the oils from your skin will compromise the adhesive qualities of the static cling adhesive.

    Also Disappointing.

The good thing about this cover is that it's really smooth in terms of sliding your finger around (moreso than the Crystal cover).Read more Also the no-fingerprints is really nice. However, the claim that the cover is anti-glare is, for me, not very true. I never noticed very much glare in the first place, and if you're under California sun all the time like I am, either cover isn't going to make very much difference. The main thing that was disappointing to me was the fact that the cover scratches incredibly easily. During the first week of getting the cover, I had two large and noticeable scratches on the screen. I baby my iphone, so it was pretty uncool. I had the Crystal cover for my ipod touch, and it never scratched, and I never noticed that it was even there. I will be changing covers soon.

    Great Product, a Must have

I bought these for my original iPhone. I recommend them as must have on the fact that I have gotten 6 months or more of use from tRead morehem, per shield. The current one has been on for almost 8 months now. I am a mover and my phone takes some abuse, drops, bumps, possible screen scratches, etc. These held up the test of the daily use of my phone. I would make these the first purchase when I get my next iPhone. The anti-glare feature is great when you are trying to check a quick email outside while trying to help something through a door. So I highly recommend if there is any product you were to buy it would be this one.

    Disappointing.

This product disappointed me. It's a good product if you really want one that reduces glare, if you want that this is the on for yRead moreou, it does that job great. But personally for me I didn't notice much of a glare in the first place, and the way it dramatically reduced the sharpness, and colour clarity was a HUGE turn off. I also noticed that when I went to a screen that was white you could see little lines from the screen protector.. I really didn't like that. I think I will be buying the Crystal Screen Protector as soon as I can..

    Great film once again

Basically the same thing as the original iPhone version, completely fingerprint-proof, yet it isn't as clear as the Crystal Film vRead moreersion.

I found it incredibly easy to install by wetting the film before applying, and ended up with no air bubbles at all.

The only downside to the film, as some reviewers stated in the Crystal Film, is that it is a little less than 1mm too short on all sides so it doesn't fully cover the front side, but I haven't found that too be too much of an issue yet.

    Perfect!

I bought this product for my original iPhone, and a year later it still looks "like new". So I'm happy to report that the new antRead morei-glare film for the iPhone 3G seems to be identical ... Power Support knew better than to tamper with perfection.

The key to using this product is to wipe your iPhone with a clean damp cloth then a clean dry cloth (not a paper towel) before applying the film.

Have two pieces of Scotch tape handy when you apply the film ... one to lift the corner of the film and another to gently remove a stray piece of dust from the iPhone, if necessary.

Thinking about it? Just get it!

I wasn't going to get this film until an Apple employee showed me his iPhone. I got it and it's great.
The film is slightly textuRead morered to give good feel.
    Absolutely no smudges or fingerprints.
Film is very thick, giving protection piece of mind
Absolutely no loss of touch screen sensitivity.
It does "gray" or dull the screen very very slightly. But, it's only noticeable the first 30 mins after it's on; then, you forget about it.
