Designed with your iPhone 3G in mind, the Air Jacket’s hard backing fits snugly to the back of your iPhone for optimal protection and functionality when used with the included films. Virtually “thin as air,” the Air Jacket measures a mere .7mm thick.

Note: The Air Jacket and Body Film cannot completely protect an iPhone 3G from all scratches or abrasions. They will not protect it from damage due to collisions or strong impacts. If your Air Jacket gets dirty, simply remove the iPhone 3G from the case and clean the Jacket with a neutral detergent and water. Let the Air Jacket dry completely before putting the iPhone back in it.

Pretty Good Case

I carefully read reviews before choosing my phone's case. This is a pretty good case, but I have found some annoyances.

…Read more-Sleek case that doesn't add bulk and keeps the simple & stylish design of the phone
-Two excellent screen films are included (my favorite is the anti-glare, for it literally erases fingerprints on the phone, my biggest pet-peeve)
-Handles drops VERY well. I've dropped my phone a couple of times, nothing serious, but the case has stayed on and protected the phone from any scratches or marks- phew!
-The price. It's hard to find a good case + good screen films for under $30
Cons:
-Case does not cover or protect the chrome edges, and they tend to scrape and scuff easily. This would be a perfect case if it covered the chrome edges.
-Case also scratches very easily. Before I had ever dropped my phone, I noticed scratches forming on the case body very easily. Over the two months it has been on my phone, it looks very scratched and makes it look like the scratches are actually on my phone- it gives it a rather unattractive and dirty look.
Overall, this is a great case for a great value. It protects the phone from damage, and that's what matters most.(16 of 17 people found this review useful)

I purchased this recently and thought I really need to write a short review on it.
It's fantastic! The clear case fits snugly …Read moreonto the back of the iPhone protecting it from scratches. I used the anti-glare film for my LCD screen and it's great and absolutely easy to install. I have a spare crystal film if I need to replace it in the future.
I can still fit my iphone into my jeans. You get to show off the aesthetics of the iPhone while using the case which is of utmost importance to me.
If you do not like big cases or sleeves or one of those silicon things that totally destroys the look of your iPhone, I suggest you get this product!Was this useful?

First of all, it is really thin. It really has a good feel onto it and it really grasps the back so no dirt will ever go in (I tri…Read moreed putting it in my pocket, worked well). Those small circle-like stickers placed at the back on the phone really helps to avoid that mark when the jacket and the case touches, and also follow the instructions on the japanese website, place 5 not just 2 of the stickers: rectangular corners then one in the middle. Like what the box says, this product cannot completely protect the iPhone 3G from all scratches and abrasions - because of it's 0.7mm thickness of course. This is only for people who just places their iPhones on their desks or tabletops, not for those who throws it or occassionally drops their iPhones (ouch why would you drop it?)
Finally my search ended, I used the Griffin Elan Form case first, didn't work because of the leather peeling, swapped it again with another Elan Form case but leather-peeling persists, switched to Incase Slider black matte, didn't work because of some problems encountered taking it off and finally this Air jacket which for sure will be my last case for my own iPhone 3g. It shows its aesthetics, the beautiful apple logo at the back (still not scratched) and of course its color. Definitely worth it! The only thing that bothered me with the packaging is that they never specified which one is the Anti Glare and the Crystal Film, they have 2 films inside but no label I have to contact them just to check which is which, cause I'm using my old anti glare film on my iPhone 3g right now. Some people say the you could fee that the texture for the PS crystal film is smoother & has a clear image compared to the anti-glare (whew finally figured it out!)
Before I end this post, some cons I found.. the air jacket plastic case, you might find some imperfections - like really really small dotlike imperfections which you'll think are dust when they were manufacturing it. I couldn't get it off (sniff) but I only had like two of them so it doesn't bother me, besides the back of my phone is SOOO WHIIITEEE thank you power support!

Plus, the back cover feels slick like the iPhone itself and it won't turn your pocket inside-out every time you pull it out (like other rubbery cases).
It is very form fitting so don't try to use on the old iPhones - it won't fit!

I had the Belkin Silicone case. It actually put a scratch on my phone, as dust particles must have gotten unde…Read morerneath it. Then I bought the iSkin revo2 from iSkin online. Great protection, but man, what a dust collector. And trying to get it in and out of my pocket was a nightmare! Returning that one.
I finally was going to settle on the Sena leather sleeve. I say settle, because although it was very slim fitting, and would be smooth enough to slip in and out of my pants pocket, just taking a peek at the time on the home screen would require removing it from the sleeve. That was going to stink for sure and get cumbersome really fast. But I thought it was my last choice. I was wrong.
I looked around for the Sena, and found it was out of stock. Boy, was I lucky, because I looked around more, and I came across the Power Support Air Jacket for iPhone 3G!
I couldn't believe what I had found. Perfect protection for the back of the phone, great feel in hand, not slippery enough to slip out of your hand, but definitely will slip in and out of my pockets for sure. Keeps the true, original form of the iPhone without ANY bulk added. AND, they come with two types of screen protectors. The Crystal film, AND the Anti Glare!! Perfect, perfect, perfect.
When I went back to the Apple store with a friend (he wanted to buy it after seeing mine) I told 2 other guys in the store about it and they totally dropped the other choices they were holding it grabbed the Power Support case!!
Get it, it really is perfect.
