This is undoubtedly a life-saving bit of kit for iPhone 3G users ! I would rather have an iPhone that is much better on its batte…Read morery usage but, as I don't, this battery extender/charger is a welcome boon. If you are serious about using your 3G to its full potential you will definitely need this, easy to use, excellent little gismo (or its bigger brother !). It would have been five stars but for the price I personally think it should come with a mains charger too !

This is a very lightweight battery which I now carry everywhere with me.
This has given me the freedom to charge my iPhone while…Read more moving around in my bag.
It clips on to the iPhone with ease even when I have my cover on my iPhone.

The first review by cj is pretty accurate. It is a great little device. The only problem is if you have the iTouch 1st Generatio…Read moren the battery pack blocks the headphone port. So, even though you have extended power one cannot listen to anything. I guess you have to load up and play allot of Apps until the battery pack recharges the iTouch.

More compact than you think

I picked one up at the store and this nifty little battery pack is much more compact than the picture shows.
Granted, it is not…Read more as large as the more expensive battery pack, but it packs enough charge to get me through the remainder of the day, especially because I hit 20% battery by late afternoon.
Things I like:
1. Easy to charge with a retractable cable
2. charges without any messy cable. just plug in and you're up and running
3. The protective cap also acts as a kick stand for my youtube videos
Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. One thing to keep in mind is that the battery can't keep up with your usage if your iPhone drains power faster than it is able to charge, so I've turned off "Push" email to "Fetch" to help with this issue.(136 of 147 people found this review useful)
