I was used to carrying my cell phone in my purse, so when I got my iPhone 3G a few months ago, I was concerned about how to protect it from scratches and bumps. I was also concerned about what would happen if I accidentally dropped it or if my cat knocked it off the table at home. Based on the previous reviews, I purchased the PixelSkin case at a local Apple store and have used it from day one along with a non-glare cover. It fits very snugly (compared to cheaper knock-offs which gap at the openings), but can be easily peeled away if necessary. The soft rubbery feel of the skin makes it easier to grasp the phone and provides protection when I set the phone on my desk at work. I bought the skin in Purple and it also makes it easy to spot my iPhone in my purse. It does seem to gather little bits of lint, but it's not too bad. My only complaint is the price - I wish it were a few dollars less expensive, so I could buy other colors to change the skins around! Overall, very pleased and would recommend this product.

This case is true to the product description. It fits the iPhone well and I can access all buttons. The material does collect some dust but it is not as clingy as the silicone cases. Also the case helps to hold the iPhone in place on hard surfaces and keep it from slipping (such as on the dashboard of my car).

The style is basic, but the case is offered in a variety of bright colors (although I chose black). I gave this product 5 stars because the case I received is what I expected from the description.

This case is rugged but to rugged. It has thick corners to protect it if you drop it and enough rubber on the back to keep it secured to your dash or safe if you drop it from less than three feet.

The cons: It does not have a "face" cover so you have to buy your own. also, the headset jack is not wide enough to accept all headsets. Thus, you have to remove the top to fit them.

To me, I think this case is pretty great.
It fits in your pocket well and its easy to slide out. It does get a little "dust" on the case, but nothing to horrible. I'd reccommand it!

i bought this case about 6 months ago and i love it. i love the colour (purple) and i love the squares on the back. i have dropped my iphone a few tmes, and the ccase seems to take the falls exceptionally well. i also like that the case comes off easily. i have friends with other cases and her case (silicone incase) would stretch or seem like it was about to rip everytime she tried to take it off. but the problem with it coming out is that i often have my phone out of the case, which is not good.


What i dont like is that it feel a little roomy in there, the iphone would never fall out, but the case is looser than most.it cant be docked in its case, and the case picks up dust and it gets trapped either in between the squares or between the ipphone and the case in the back

It's a nice case and really protects my phone. I had a problem using it. With the raised edge on the front it was preventing me from putting the phone close enough to my face to deactivate the touch screen. I would continually mute people and wouldn't know it until I they were asking me if I was still there all the while have to repeat everything they missed. That was the only downside I had.

I don't normally write reviews but I just had to for this case!!

Ok I recently purchased my Iphone 3g and I decided that it was a good investment to buy a case. So after reading many reviews I decided to get the pixelskin.

When I got it it was actually a lot thinner than I expected, but the corners are extra padded, and I love the "pixels" all over the case. I think it looks great on the iphone and it has a nice feeling to it and it gives you a great grip.

Well I got the case yesterday and today I forgot that my pocket was open in my jacket and I was running through the parking lot...and BAM! So i picked it up and after examining it thoroughly, there was not one scratch on the phone or the case!!

This one is a keeper!!!
