To me this is the ultimate case. Once the computer is on your back the weight is perfectly distributed and feels almost not there…Read more. I am buying a second 17' MBP and I am buying a second Incase Slingcase for it. It is the best laptop case that I have ever used or seen.

The Incase Sling Pack is the first of all that I've tried (and owned) that accomplishes both tasks. One of the best features is that not only does it hold all my gear, but it magically retains its slim profile in the process; which makes it easy to carry and store (even under the airplane seat in front of you). Could not be happier with this bag.

I picked this up last week at our local Apple store and it's perfect with my new MBP 17" unibody. Smaller than a backpack but ple…Read morenty of room to store my wireless mighty mouse, charger, 2 mini-dv adapters (VGA and DVI), my Seagate Go Firewire external drive, firewire cable, iPhone headphones, and more, all quite securely so it's not jostling around. The amazing thing is that even with all this in there, it doesn't get any thicker due to ingenious pocket placement. The liner around the laptop itself is very soft and holds it securely but it slides in and out easily.
The only thing to be aware of us that the strap doesn't adjust any bigger than about a 45-46" chest. Shouldn't be a problem for most people but I'm 6'5" and if my chest were any bigger I'd be uncomfortable with this pack. (I'm NOT uncomfortable, just be aware of it if you're bigger than that up top).

I am a college student, and purchased this bag back when I bought my 13.3 inch Macbook (black). I am now almost one complete sem…Read moreester into school, I take my laptop with me to every class. I use the following various bags: Incase Sling, Jansport messenger, and a regular book bag. I find that by far, the incase is the most comfortable, easiest accessible (in relation to finding items in your bag), smallest, yet most organized bag than any of the others. Although it is difficult to lug around several text books, by adjusting the strap, it is once again very comfortable. The strap is easy it adjust and has a wide range of lengths to accommodate small and large people. The bag is even more comfortable when you stand up straight, which is a plus, because it encourages good posture. Very important for musicians such as myself. It definitely is smaller than most backpacks, however, with its nets in the inside as well as pencil/pen holders it makes it very easy to be organized. For those people who have iPods (or other mp3 players) it has a pocket on the strap which is made specifically for them. There is a small hole by the iPod pocket that you can stick headphones through. The pocket on the front of the bag is great for putting items such as: a usb laptop mouse, Cleaning supplies, random pieces of paper you get in classes. The laptop pocket on the inside is lined with a soft, protective material that protects your computer from being bounced on your back when you are walking, or climbing stairs. I recommend this bag to anyone, whether they are a student, a businessman, or just someone who likes taking their computer with them.

I have had the bag for 2 years now and it still looks new and travels with me all over the world since it is accessible and very convenient. So comfortable you can strap it on all day and not know you have it on your back...
