This software is phenomenal. You can view both Mac OS & Windows OS on the same screen along with having access to all of your doc…Read mores when you're using Windows. I purchased this software b/c there are apps on Office 2007 that are not available on Office 2008 (MAC). With VM Ware you can have the best of both worlds. Very EZ to install. You'll love it.

Fusion saved me big $$$$! Thanks!!

I'm moving from Windows to OS X and Fusion eases the transition.
The first thing I did with my MacBook Pro was to upgrade the RAM…Read more to 4 GBs, and this is probably a good idea for many Fusion users. Running two operating systems concurrently on a computer does mean a high RAM demand! No real surprise there. RAM is cheap, I think I paid $64 for this upgrade.
As a Photoshop user on the PC and not wanting to spend the money to change over to a Mac version for the small number of photos that need the power of Photoshop over iPhoto/Aperture. Fusion works just fine.
I am a big user of Microsoft Office 2007 and Office 2008 is NOT compatible with 2007. So I ditched 2008 and continue to use 2007 under Fusion.
I have tried virtualizing existing XP and Vista Ultimate machines - totally successful.
I have accessed my bootcamp partition (Win XP) via Fusion and it's great.
Switching back and forth between full-screen and "unity" modes is great - I like both depending upon what I'm doing.
I consider myself a very demanding user and don't suffer bad software gladly, but this Fusion thing is simply amazing. Love it.(8 of 8 people found this review useful)

Well, I bought my first iMac last year, here in Brazil, so with this you can find 2 things: 1 I hav a bad English, 2 I'm not a exp…Read moreert in Macs.
After bought my Mac I was missing my old games, so I found out that I could play then with this great program, so guess what, I bought and I had a wonderful experience, easy instalation, friendly interface, just perfect.
Just a little problem, but is not about the software, if you have Leopard and a AMD video card, wait for a new driver for your video card, because without this you will not be able to use your games in your VMWare FUSION.
Hope I've helped(4 of 4 people found this review useful)

I didn't initially buy VM because there were so few reviews. After one month of trying everything to get Parallels to work properly, I scrapped it, and bought VM Fusion 2.0. Within two minutes of installation I knew I made the right choice. Everything works perfectly, and FAST. Don't make the mistake I made, buy this first, at $79.99 it is a steal!

I love Vmware fusion. I got it a while ago, and at that point, I was wondering whether I wanted to partition my hard drive for Boo…Read moret Camp. I tried this product out, and I loved it.
It works fabulously, and the unity feature is excellent. Also, there is a way how to make it so the desktop on Windows or whatever other OIS you use matches the one on your Mac.
I highly recommend it.(365 of 400 people found this review useful)

VMware Fusion 2
Outstanding

This is a very impressive bit of software.
I actually received version 1.1.2 along with the order of a newly purchased Mac Mini…Read more. Upon installing I was then directed to a free upgrade to v2.0. Downloaded and installed it, and then was treated to the unexpected delight of being able to import an existing W2K virtual machine from Virtual PC 7 off of the G5 tower I am banishing to the basement for the crime of excessive fan noise.
Not only does the imported W2K system work flawlessly, but it also runs much faster than it did before because VMWare allows one to allocate 1GB memory to the virtual machine (vs only 512M allowed by VPC7). From start to finish the whole process took less than an hour, and I was spared the irritation of a miserable afternoon building and configuring a new Windows installation. Hats-off to the engineers at VMWare for a job well done!(354 of 385 people found this review useful)
