I bought this charger at the Apple retail store on sale for $19.95 and it works great. It not only charges my Nano, world wide, but it also charges my Palm Pilot. I didn't buy the international plugs, instead I use the international plug adaptor that I bought in Walmart for $10.

this charger works great. i have had it for almost a year and there have been no problems. but dont waste the money paying 30 dollars for it. i got it for 2 dollars on ebay.

Keep reading messages that this product dies after a few weeks. But I have been using this product for well over a year for my iPod without any problems. I would highly recommend it for anyone that needs to charge their iPod or iPhone and don't have access to a computer.

This is a necessary accessory for any ipod as charging by computer connection takes so long. Therefore, it should really be included in the box with the ipod at the time of purchase.

Testament to Apple's continuous product improvement this latest USB charger is absolutely tiny! Just the thing to keep in your notebook bag to top up your iPhone or iPod on the go.
Surprisingly good value for money too as the package includes a USB2 sync cable that I really didn't expect at this price!
Next day delivery from the Apple store was much appreciated too.

Fab but should come with the iPod by default

This was the first accessory I ever bought for my iPod (4th Gen Nano). Just the thought of having to turn on my laptop with it's super slow start-up just to recharge my iPod stressed me out!
The power adaptor plugs straight into the mains power (3 pin plug) and connects to the same USB cable that came with your iPod. It comes with an additional cable which is great to have a spare.
I've found recharging with this adaptor is actually quicker than recharging through the USB port on the computer. It's also great to keep your iPod fully charged if you're using it connected to an external sound system or the TV.
Others have complained of their connections being loose, but mine fit snuggly with no worry of them falling out and the adaptor is robustly made.
I would have given this 5 stars if it weren't for the price. I feel, like others, this should come bundled with any iPod over £100 by defualt. It makes sense as there may not be a comuter to use to charge with, whereas this can be used at home, at work, at your friends house, hotel room, etc.

I bought this power adapter because of the fact that my iPod took a little too long to charge off of the USB and the fact that I travel alot with my family and I cannot bring my computer everywhere. I'm happy that I bought this product but I still wonder why this product doesn't come with the iPod to begin with. All of my other mp3 players came with power adapters, why not the iPod? Is it because Apple is working at just getting an extra couple of bucks, of they think it is unneccessary to have the power adapter since there is a fairly decent charge time off of USB? Either way, buy this, you'll need it if you can't charge off of a computer.

I bought my adapter about a year ago and have been using it ever since. Its very compact so its easy to carry around and plug in. Its great for places that dont have a computer to charge your iPod on. If your thinking about it get it. Its so worth your money!!!

be careful overseas

This power adapter worked fine for me in europe with a standard plug converter, but when i brought it to Bonaire (the caribbean), it worked fine while i was there with no converter, but when i got back home in the U.S. it started making sizzling electrical sounds when i plugged it in, and it wouldn't charge unless i held it in a certain position. it also seemed to build up an immunity to certain outlets so that i had to keep moving it around the house. it is four years old, so it could be a symptom of age but it specifically started after i returned to the U.S. from Bonaire.
