Good design, but after 6 months of careful use (no pockets), it lost its shape around the screen and split.
Not good value at £20Was this useful?

Incase Protective Cover for iPhone 3G
Pros outweigh cons
Written by BM from chino

Well here's my "review" on the case per se:
The good: Well this case is definitely 'pretty'. It provides great shock protection. It's a nice and thick silicone. I love the fingerprint laser etching on the back it's really quite nice. It fits nicely into my pocket and it barely catches dust, something you'd expect from other cases. It has a nice grip in your hand and doesn't make your hand sweaty like other cases.
The bad: The 'lip' of the phone seems like it would stretch a bit if you take it off constantly. It might scratch your phone like all silicone cases do, to prevent this just mix it in with your dishes in the dishwasher maybe once every two weeks you shouldn't have that problem.
The pros on this case definitely outweigh the cons if you're looking into the silicone department of iPhone cases definitely go to this one.(3 of 3 people found this review useful)

Incase Protective Cover for iPhone 3G
a "case" of grief
Written by BH from London

Do not buy this unless you like parting with cash for rubbish products. Mine lasted for two months before splitting in several places. It's not a good fit for the iphone and is allows dust and grit to get inside the casing. This then rubs against the sides of the iphone and scratches it. So, far from protecting my iphone, this badly designed and shabbily made product actually damaged it. If you already have one of these I would advise casting it into a deep pit.

This product has broken in 4 different places. I have had this for 4 months and it no longer protects my iPhone. Time to buy a different case.

Incase Protective Cover for iPhone 3G
Attractive look, not great on durability
Written by KF from Fort Collins

I bought this case at the store when I recently bought my new iPhone 3G and have had it for about a month now. Here is what I thought:
The Good: The design is very attractive and blends nicely with the design of the iPhone. It is sleek and adds no additional bulk. I have dropped my phone once from a short distance onto the carpet and no damage was done... but then again it was carpet.
The Bad: Due to the material of the case, it "grabs" onto fabrics, making it difficult to fall out of your pocket, but that is if you can even get it in there. As a female, our pockets are smaller than most men's to begin with, but even so, I have given up on trying to get this phone into even my bigger pocketed jeans. Also, due to the same aspect of the material, it grabs onto dirt and crumbs very easily, but it is also easy to wipe them off.
The Ugly: After one month of use the top section of case separating the ear-plug jack and the face plate has ripped. I have only taken the case off twice: once to apply my screen protector after the first week of use and then once when it ripped. The case is also not nearly as tight as it originally was.
Good looking case for short term use. I highly recommend a screen protector (I spent the money and went with the Invisible Shield by ZAGG and I am very satisfied with it, haven't scratched the screen yet, fingerprints are easy to wipe off). Nonetheless I am now looking for a new case...(4 of 9 people found this review useful)

Incase Protective Cover for iPhone 3G
meh

this case is not great. there were four to five tears in the material along the top and it slid around in the case. i was a little worried it would fall out totally before i got a chance to buy a new one. it tore at the headphone jack and all along that upper part. i loved the rubber feeling - it felt more secure in my hand that any other case. it frays a little as well and gets dirty easily due to the "pattern" on the back, but it was decent for the 5-6 months i used it. not wonderful if you're looking for something to last.

What I thought

Over a short period of time it stretches out and your phone slips around in it. So I would recommend getting a hard case.

Incase Protective Cover for iPhone 3G
Very good case overall

There are pros and cons of this one.
Pros include the rubber material which gives it a good feel in the hand and when holding it, making it feel more secure. You can rest it on a table and it won't slide all over the place. The case fits perfectly to the phone, and it appears that the quality has gotten better at the seam by the headphone jack so that part will not rip easily (unlike the first release for the 2G iPhone). Your iPhone will NOT scratch in this case, unlike most all of the plastic cases (even the ones that say they don't scratch, scratch somewhat). Also to note is the volume and lock buttons are completely covered which is really nice, and further protection towards the iPhone.
Cons include the difficulty getting it in and out of pockets. A lot of people mention this, and yes, it's more difficult than a regular slick case however, if you can do it right, its not bad getting it in and out. You just need to cup your hand a little to provide a slick surface getting it in and out. This case is NOT made for people who wear skin tight pants and expect to get their iPhone out easily. Get a plastic case, or no case in that situation. The other con, is that it doesn't come with a clear face cover sheet like others do. For $30+tax you would think they could include a $.02 sheet to apply to the face. Regardless, not many actually come with these, so no real demerits there. The only other thing to mention is that this is not a high grade rubber and it will attract pocket lint, so once in awhile you will need to clean this (maybe once a month or so).
Overall I really like this case. It feels great holding the phone, and I am more confident with it than before. It will NOT scratch the back of my phone, and I can always apply a 3rd party front cover if I decide. It fits the phone perfectly and whats great are the volume and luck buttons are completely covered and they work!
I really do recommend this as a case if you are looking.(7 of 7 people found this review useful)
