Do not even bother at looking a…Read moret others. Also, a plus for MAC users, it uses the 802.11n protocol which is even faster than the 802.11a through 802.11g versions for PC's !!!!!(42 of 49 people found this review useful)

First this thing is fast! I always thought my internet connection was slow, turns out it was my wireless. Secondly the range is much, much better than my old dome shaped AirPort. This product is a breeze to setup with the Airport Utility built into every Mac and there is a CD in the box with the same software for Windows. It's also really well built, compared to other brands it's at least two or three times their weight. I can't say enough good things about this product.

What a Relief!

My previous well-known router, which shall remain nameless, worked well when it was working, but every time I had a serious proble…Read morem with my computer, it had to be set up again. I couldn't figure out how to do this and the manufacturer's tech support was of no help, so I had to pay $100 to $150 to have someone come out and set it up for me. This happened 3 times in 3 years. This week after the manufacturer took 19 email messages to tell me he couldn't help me, I decided to spend $179 for Airport Extreme instead of $150 for another service call. I did need help setting it up, but Apple Tech Support had me up and running on three computers within half an hour. And I am amazed at how much faster the internet works now.
