A Shure fix for the Bose in ears

I read a review of these products and was sad to say that I agreed with everything stated by the other reviewers, well....almost e…Read moreverything. The comments on Bose's quality were completely unfounded. I am an audio professional. I mix and record music for a living and spend most of my time dealing with audiophile level monitoring equipment, and I can assure that, whilst Bose may not make make the very top grade afforded to Tannoy, Pro Ac, Genelec and such, they are way closer than the majority of consumer and average grade pro equipment.
With this said, the in ears do have major issues, but one may be surprised to learn that all of these issues are related to the silicone ear pieces. The actual enclosure and drivers are incredible. They are among the most musical drivers at any price. Trust me, I've tried them all. Single driver, Dual driver, Triple driver. To an extent, you get what you pay for, but honestly there is nothing under $200 that comes close to these, once the fix has been applied!
As mentioned, these earbuds are plagued by the poor design of their silicone earpieces. Want to fix it and hear these how they should have been designed, simply purchase a pair of Shure E3C replacement ear pieces or anything of the same design.
That's it! You'll spend $5 and you will have a pair of incredible, musically balanced earbuds. The bass extension increased by a factor of 5, the highs remain silky smooth, and the fit is workout worthy. They will sound great without any eq whatsoever.

Not that it's said by Bose to be sup…Read moreer comfortable staying in your ear, I just felt stranger in the ear. WHen i used the BIG one, I felt hurt, painful after using it like 20min, but when i came to the MED one, it felt like moving in the year, and having the sense of almost coming out. But actually, it was steady enough in the ear. I don't know why. after using it like two weeks, i still can't get used to it, so i returned it. But, anyway, the sound the the best one i've ever had, heard. very good. especially the bass, better than sony earbuds.

(they're almost as good as the …Read moreheadphone version of these!)Now if you have looked at the poor reviews of this product that say the volume isn't loud enough, they must have horrible hearing because i can turn them up high enough to where my ears hurt. Also the falling out of your ears, yes they do feel weird at first but they don't fall out, nor do they have any sound problems.
