Overview

Omnidirectional vs. traditional speakers
Logitech’s omnidirectional acoustics make the Pure-Fi Express Plus different from traditional speaker docks. These speakers emit sound all over. The volume knob is nice. My only complaint is your alarm can't be your own music.

I was looking at a more expensive version that had a traveling ba…Read moreg but the sales person said it is just a bag and this speaker sounds better and it was cheaper. The sound can not compare with a bose but for a 3rd of the cost it is well worth it. It came with different docking holder for different types of Ipods but I found using the basic docking aplication works. I also like the fact it has the option of using AA bateries so you can take it from room to room or outside and worry about losing the cord or finding a plug. I feel it was a very good purchase for what I wanted it to do for me. It is not a sterio I would want as my main system for my house but it is a great companion when you are working on a project or just hanging around reading a book or something.

With it's elegant look I can place it anywhere and it looks sharp in addition to the clock which never crossed my mind that it needed to be a feature - and oh surprise it's a nice addition. Also the idea of the carrying handle is clever because you don't leave finger print on the product.

Excellent sound quality even at relatively high volume, and a very nice looking unit too. Absolutely no feedback, when iPhone ring…Read mores the volume fades to mute and the phone rings, then when the call ends the music continues from where it left off.
Also takes batteries and comes with euro adaptor so ideal for holidays as well as a bedside alarm clock.
The only drawback is that the adaptor for iPhone is built for both original and 3g variants. Consequently it doesn't fit either as well as the proper adaptors, such as those that are shipped with the Altec Lansing T612. I called Logitech about this but they weren't very helpful so I will be purchasing a specific adaptor for my 1st generation iPhone.
