With that said, however, mine does not work properly at all. The ipod actually moves around inside the hard case, which is a little frightening. On top of that, the case itself comes apart very easily. The lips do not seal very well, and even when they are sealed perfectly they still move around a fair amount. One time I was walking and the case came apart in my pocket. I wouldn't want to test it falling.
It's very possible I just have a defective model. Too bad I didn't keep my receipt. The only good thing about this case is that it taught me to make sure to keep all my receipts in the future.(5 of 9 people found this review useful)

This is probably the best case I ever bought. It is very cool looking and durable. Here are some pros and cons:
pros

2.the scratches on the metal can usually be rubbed off with a piece of cloth
3.It stays together very well and you can see the color of your ipod through the clear plastic backpiece
cons
1. Click wheel and hold button indents are a little bit too deep
2.It is kind of hard to put on
3. You can't get the silver or red colors on the apple site
but even with the cons this is one of the best cases you could buy(20 of 21 people found this review useful)

This case is beautiful with vibrant color and is high in qulaity.
The front of the case is metal with etched design that can be…Read more felt when your fingers slide over the surface. It is subtle and very cool.
This case has a full protective screen over the Nano's screen. Its very clear and does not cause glare like some other full screen covering cases. (There is a protective film over the case's screen. Leave that on.)
There is a clear "unique soft-touch click-wheel protector" over the click-wheel. This protector makes it tactilely possible to easily distinguish the center button from the outer ring. Also the click-wheel protector slightly decreases the click-wheel's sesitivity, allowing better control of the iPod's navigation.
The back of the case is completely clear, so your Nano's vibrant color can be fully seen.
The bad...
1. The front of the case is metal, so the color of your Nano can not bee seen, exept in the center of the click-wheel protector. There is potential for color clash, so choose your case color wisely.
2. The little hole at the top of the case for the the hold button access is slightly deep. Fingernails help greatly, or small fingers.
3. The Nano fits into the case very accurately, but there is a slight (about 1mm) verticle play. This is really nothing but with the slightly deep hole/recess for the hold button and a 1 mm verticle movement of the iPod, trying to get to the hold button takes a consious effort.
As of this review, Apple Store only stocks 2 colors, Black and Pink. The Belkin Remix Metal Case for iPod Nano 4Gen comes in 4 colors. Black, Sliver, Red, and Pink. All the colors can be seen at the Belkin site.
This case is so SLICK!, I felt the need to protect the case from scratches. I"ll probably get the "Power Support Crystal Film for iPod nano (4th Gen.)" and put it on the Blekin Remix case. I bought the pink case for my (13 y/o) daughter's new Apple Red Nano 4Gen and she loves it. I have an order for a Yellow Nano 4 Gen with a Black Case. Awsome! Both Nano 4Gen and this Belkin cover.

This case has a really good feel to it, it has the same oval like design that the ipod has, so it feels good in your hand

3. Functionality
The case is good for displaying videos and other things, but the touch pad that goes over the click wheel is not quite as good as i was hoping, for starters it sometimes sticks, in other words sometimes the pad will not sense you touching it, and it will go unsensed by the ipod and that can get really annoying if you are playing games. (good for music and video, not games)

the look of the case is very nice, however when i first bought mine it had one or two niticable scratches on the front
