the menu button must be functional as well! at least revise this apple remote so it must be able to seek playlist as well and not just seek track and adjust volume...at first I thought the remote was broken.

Simple elegance of design and function. Works very well but, it can really go thru the batteries. I have gone thru a battery in one day while working on a Keynote presentation. If the battery go down in Front Row, the computer goes to sleep! Could be quite embarrassing in the wrong setting. If you are presenting something important, put in a new battery beforehand. O/w, I love it.

I bought this product for my MacBook Pro, right before going to college, and I love this product. My neighbors are actually jealous of me. It's perfect for people who do a lot of activities to music, like getting dressed, brushing your teeth, doing your hair. It's the little things that count. I even use it when I'm doing homework. I think its perfect for music lovers, and for people who function better with music.
And the menu button brings up the Front Row application, so that your Mac pretty much turns into an iPod that you can control from a distance.(21 of 24 people found this review useful)

It *****! - for iPod. You can not use the menu-button, so you can not change artist or albums. Functions: > play, ll pause, mute vol, plus vol, prev. song or next song..

since my i mac came with the remote, I purchased a new macbook and also purchased the remote, after pairing it with my mac book, works just fine! It's just something I had to have, but most likely wont use! but I can say yea I got that! it's worth the 20 clams, and does make it easier to play music and look at photo slide shows.
