This case is pretty good. It protects my computer which is what it is supposed to do but there was a foam piece that came with it and I just kept the piece inside to allow my computer to be snug in the case and it really works. I have a hard covering on my computer so I wasn't worried bout scratches but the foam piece isn't rough anyway.

Overall it does exactly what its supposed to do!

This case is exactly what I expected. Fits my new unibody Macbook Pro nicely. It's not the best looking but very functional. Looking forward to traveling with that way I can just pull the case out of my bag and put through the x-ray.

Great product and protection.

I recently purchased a 15" MBP and needed a sleeve to put it in, so when inside my Crumpler Considerable Embarrasment bag it would be protected at all cost.

It does the job great, no complaints. Highly recommended if you just need protection from scratches.

It is not meant to protect from drops and bangs however.

its a good nifty spiffy case does a pretty good job in protecting ure notebook, like one person said not cool if you dropped it, other than that its great, another suggestion is use this case with the Speck Clear Case which is 49.99 on here but u can get it for cheaper on ebay for like 10 dollars with 3 dollar shipping like me. I actually used both combinations and i dropped my comp 1 time, just one time on solid gravel when i was walking out of my school and afraid the screen may crak or something, but with the combo of the neoprene case and the speck hard clear case protection my computer was runnin fine :D.

The case itself is good, it fits snugly on the sides (the longer dimension) and not so snug on the other side, which seems like a drawback but is actually there to prevent the zipper, which on the in-side does not have any protection (i.e., a cloth cover), from scratching your computer. Well, this is all fine and dandy until your computer slides in the case a bit and the zipper scratches up the side of your computer. My computer now has 4-5 LARGE scratches and a patch of heavy wear, after only 2 days use. Unfortunately, the case that I purchased to hopefully protect my investment and increase the resell value has now reduced it. I think I'm unfortunately going to have to go for another case, though I was enjoying this one quite a bit for the sleek look, thick padding and good fit.

I recently purchased a brand new MacBook Pro and I knew immediately that I wanted to get a padded slip case to help protect it. A family member had this case for an older macbook and loved it and so I decided to give it a go, I am not disappointed in my purchase. There is a little bit of space between the laptop and the zipper (less than an inch) however this does not bother me as it gives an extra buffer to protect my mac from getting damaged by the zipper. As for lack of space for accessories? This is not an issue for me as I knew getting this that it was merely a protective sleeve and am using it in conjunction with a larger book bag (which is able to hold all my necessary accessories). All in all, my laptop is well protected and I would definitely recommend this case.

I dont get it: most people here talk about the case being too large. but its actually the perfect size. couldn`t be better.

and about the power adaptor:
Why do you need it? I mean, the new macbook has 5 hours of battery and the new macbook pro, 7 hours. do you need more than 5 hours of battery per day? NO!

Leave your power adaptor at home and stop complaining about this great product!

I don't know what the product was like in the past, but this is what apple are selling now. i bought it last week, so if you buy one, this is probably the exact one you will get.

IT DOES NOT FIT PENRYN/EARLY 2008 MBP's. I read hundreds of reviews, all a mixed bag. There is about an inch and half space at the top making loose and saggy. Its horrid.

Looks incredible, feels incredible (which is a real shame) but because it doesn't fit right, i sent it back. I have a feeling that incase have altered the measurements of the product without altering the model number or even saying so! So this might fit the new unibody's but definitely not the previous models. Please don't fall for it even though it gives you the measurements of the skin.

I have bought a tucano second skin, its not as thick and doesn't look half as good, but it fits really snug and I know it will protect my MBP, which is all that matters at the end of the day.
