    Great Case But...

This is a GREAT case for a GOOD price. It's the right case to purchase if u want to show off that new IPhone 3G without scratching it. Although over time the case picks up dust or dirt from inside your pocket.

    Nice Looking

It's Cool That U Can See the iPhone With the Clear Case. Looks Slick. It Doesn't Cause Scratches. It Doesn't Look Cheap, People Might Think That Because It's a Clear Case. The Hard Clear Plastic Case Doesn't Brake When U Drop It a lot. Does a Great Job Protecting the iPhone. The Only Problem Is that It Attracts Dust and U Can See It, But All Cases Attract Dust. It's a Quick and Easy Clean Up. Agent 18 Makes the Best Cases Out There.

    THIS CLEARSHEILD CASE

I bought this case at apple... pretty expensive and not worth the price. I bought it the same day I got the new iPhone then put it directly on the phone and soon after, in less than a month, there was scratches along the phone in the same place the case slid on. Dirt gets easily trapped between the phone and the case and causes you to constantly remove it to clean it off. It is a efficient case if you are one to show off your phone but if you want it to stay scratch free I would say Incipio silicone cases are better.

    6 months so far

I bought this case for myself and my wife when we got 3G iPhones in July 2008. Both are still snug and work fine. No slips or scuffs on the phones. The included dock insert fits into a Logitech Pure-Fi Dream to hold the phone very nicely. My phone took one fall onto loose trail rocks, but between the shell and the screen overlay (crystal film) it's absolutely fine. But Amazon carries it for less.

Perfect fit... only in the beginning

I used to be a big fan of Agent18 for all of my iPods. This one leaves a bit to be desired.

Others have mentioned that this scratches the iPhone or collects dust or is slippery. They may all be true, but I am willing to live with it.

What bothered me the most is the fact that the plastic started to lose its stiffness and thus fit loosely, period. After using it for a month, the two parts that make up the case fit loosely on each other and you can feel it slipping against each other vertically when you hold the iPhone 3G. I accidentally dropped the iPhone with the case and the case broke apart into its two components and the iPhone landed on the asphalt. Ouch. The loose-ness of the case didn't help keep the case as one, solid unit when it hit the ground.

I inquired Agent18 and they sent me a replacement. Sure enough, it fit perfectly for about a month, then back to the loose-fit.

I hope they fix this problem or come out with a better version, otherwise, I will not be buying Agent18 again.

    6 months of use.

I have used this casing for 6 months now, and it has definitely prevented my iphone from becoming a scratched up phone.

Yes, its true that sometimes small bits of dust get into the casing, but its mostly from being in my pocket, its the lint and soft things that get in there. And that is harmless.

I have dropped my phone with this casing on, and it has protected it. It didn't come off when dropped. It is clear and shows off the color of your iphone.

looks as new as it did when i got it. 0 scratches on the phone using this for 6 months.

    I highly recommend this casing.

    Hurt my iPhone

    Written by DR from Cincinnati

As have said, lint and other particles entered my iPhone. I frequently cleaned it. However, not only did these particles captured and kept by the case cause me to have to clean my iPhone constantly, they left chips and scratches in my iPhone; the very thing a case should prevent. I do not recommend buying this product.

    It seems good to me...

Honestly, I don't drop my iPhone very often (and choose not to drop it just to verify other reports), so I can't really report about those comments. I can, however, say that it feels nice on the phone. The side grips are helpful and the case looks nice. So far I have had no scratches and very little lint. Overall, this is a good product.

    Not Bad

Bought this the other day, it fit's the iphone 3G really well and it's easy to get on and off, no danger of damage to the phone trying to remove. The one issue is the dock adapter does not fit the iphone 3g dock. So if you use the dock you have to flick the case on and off buit its easy to do. Still shows off the iphone.
