    No Belt Clip...

    Written by AB from Binbrook

    Silly me.
I thought calling it a "Holster" meant that it might hang on a belt.
It's a nice design, but why has almost every case maker now assumed that we want to put these bulky things in our pocket?

Great!! Slim, great for pants pocket

This is an excellent case - easy to slip in, remove, and super thin so it isn't bulky in your pants pocket.

This is a beltclip-less case specifically designed for your coat or pants pocket. It's excellent! The small velcro tab keeps the latch closed, and it easily slides out.

I used to have a similar case for my old 1st Gen, and the phone would slip out becuase there was no closure. This is a classy solution. I love it.

I just wanted a case for my iPhone 3G and this one is great! I love that the tab pulls out your iPhone for fast removal. The case is very well made. I am very happy with my purchase.

I really like the case but after about a week the the pull tab pulled off. It kind of defeats the purpose. I still use it because it does the but it's kind of hard to get out of the case without the pull tab.

Worth The Price, Overall Excellent Case

    Written by DM from Hamilton

An excellent case overall, the stylish and professional jacket print is very nice, feels good in the hand and isn't made with a cheap look upon inspection. So far (two weeks) it's protecting the phone very nicely, with no signs of repeated case use scratches on the phone at all.

I dropped the phone in the holster from about 3 feet onto a concrete floor bending down (while it was in my shirt pocket) and the phone was totally protected, showing no signs of damage of any kind.

The only complaint I have is the velcro attachment- I think I would have preferred a strong magnet instead- the velcro cheapens the case.

I've used hard and soft cases with the original iPhone, but eventually ditched them because I couldn't stand the bulkiness they added to the phone.

If you're looking for a professional looking case which will protect the phone without compromising on the use of the phone in its virgin state, this case is for you.

    lasted less than 30 days

nice style but the quality is poor.

The Velcro lasted only two weeks then the leather stretched out so much the phone won't stay in.

My phone has slid OUT AND ON TO THE FLOOR TWICE... no more! This case goes in the trash.

    Perfect Compact Case

This case is great if you want something that isn't bulky and doesn’t take away from the simplicity and beauty of the iPhone. The iPhone in this elegant case remains compact enough to put in your pocket or purse. The pull tab thing is great. I only wish it closed using a magnet instead of velcro. Other than that, the case was exactly what I was looking for. The only thing this case won't do for you is protect the iPhone while out of the case...best to get a cover shield for the front. Without side and back protection, it is likely that over time, your iPhone will pick up some scratches on those surfaces; however, for me I’m willing to sacrifice that as I prefer the feel of holding the device in my hand with out an exterior shell.

This is the best case for the iPhone 3G. The other ones are for both the old and the new and don't exactly fit that well, this one is just for it, so it fits perfectly. Give it a day or two to loosen up and its good to go. pull tab is a nice security. Some may want a belt clip though, but for me it's not a big deal.

    Great case - bad Velcro

    Written by AJ from Prestatyn

I've had this case for 2 weeks now and it's very nice. It looks smart and the pull tab that helps get your iPhone out of the snug case is a great idea. The only negative aspect is the Velcro. Mine has pulled away from the tab which is awful and the Velcro itself is cheap and after only 2 weeks the soft side has become very fluffy and pulled which doesn't allow it to grip properly.

Great case let down by cheap Velcro. Mine is going back to the store. I hope the next one is better.

    A waste of money...

    Written by PP from HONOLULU

I purchased this along with the new iPhone 3G today and instantly put it on my phone and continued my shopping by the time I got home I was so over this case! Number (1) the phone would not seat all the way down leaving the top above the opening. Number (2) when answering a call it was difficult to take the phone from the case and the call went to VM, and Number (3) it lacks a clip and is rather bulky when in your pants pocket and if carry by hand your chances of leaving it somewhere is great! I would not buy this case again nor would I recommend this case to anyone, unless your the type who enjoys a good struggle, lol... It may look hot, pretty and sleek, like a women but that doesn't mean she'll make a good match... lol Seriously, don't waste your money on this, it will only end up in your "Graveyard" of iPhone Cases, unless you are able to return it. Take your time in finding a case, there are so many being offered and it's just like buying shoes, you got to try it on before leaving the store, I wish I had!
