The cover makes the iPod easier to hang onto because it not as slippery. Did notice that the lower portion of the cover had to be removed to get a good connection in some players.

I just got the ipod touch 2g with the free ipod touch rebate
I decided on this case because i didn't want a hard case
I was perfect, very form-fitting
Protects stainless steal on the back
Looks cool
Would not recommend for someone who uses the ipod dock
If you plan to take a case on and off I would not recommend this case
It seems expensive but you get what you pay for.... the perfect case

I've had this case for about a month now and I've already dropped it a few times, but it still functions perfectly. The port still work perfectly and it is easy to take on and off, but it doesn't fall off. GREAT PRODUCT

I just got one of these a week ago and i used it for my touch it was aazing never rips and soo easy to get on if your thiking of buying one of these youre doing the right thing

My old iPod broke so i purchased the 2nd gen, I wanted to keep it looking nice, so I bought this case. The only bad thing about this case is, dirt gets in it. Dirt got in behind mine, and the back is messed up now. Still looks better than having no case at all but that kind of made me mad. I was hoping to see a brand new back to my iPod.

This case is great! I can't understand why other people rated it so low, maybe they have unrealistic expectations? The soft feel of this case definitely gives added grip. The soft feel is the same as the Incase hardshells for the MacBooks to give you an idea. It has a satin feel. Keeps your iPod nice and protected while still giving you access to all controls and allows you to charge it while it's in the case. Well worth the money.

I was surprised to read the negative reviews since this case has worked so well for me. Like a lot of products, your experience dpends on how you use it.

I never take the case off -- my iPod is charged by my computer during the workday and a basic charger at home, so I have no base station to contend with. I like the fact that I touch the screen directly; the screen cover on a previous case I owned wasn't very responsive. My case has never torn.

Finally, I love the feel of this case. When I first bought my iPod I liked the weight and solidness of the iPod sans case. This case gives a similar solid feel, but with a small lip around the screen to protect it in case an accident does happen.
