I have now tried many different headsets for the iPhone and have found nothing to beat these, for sound and using the mic. The music isolates a lot of the outside noise and sound is great for music and when a call comes through.

Based on current Headsets for the iPhone these are the best.

I bought these in New York just before christmas as the normal apple headset keeps falling out of my ears.


The sound is great, I use them all the time. The only down side is that the sound is so good you tend not to hear anything else.....

Pros:
Fantastic, detailed sound.
Controls are small and work seamlessly.
Ear buds look great and seem to ooze class.
Overall very light and easy to wear.
Cons:
Left bud started to crackle after less than 24 hours of use.
In-ear sound isolation so effective it renders one deaf.
Microphonic nature of leads means tapping them produces a loud thump in your ears.
When running you can hear your heartbeat in your head along with the music.

Returned to Apple store the day after purchase and bought the Bose in-ears instead.

These in-ears are must have for any iPhone user that likes studio monitor listening experience. Mids, highs and lows are balanced so this is not for those who want over blown lows. Well mixed music sounds excellent with these ones and horrible mixes are totally unbearable...

I have been using The triple.fi 10 Pro for my iPod. And this is best of best, better than Bose or Shure or any other. I tried all. Then I bought this one for my iPhone. This Ultimate Ears super.fi 4 VI Headset has microphone and button which can control phone call and music to skip or stop etc.
Sound is not good as Ultimate Ear triple.fi 10 Pro. I think good as Ultimate Ears super.fi 5 pro. But for iPhone, small and cool design and very very good sound and bass sound too!! After I bought this I did not look back. I think best in the market.

Superb sound from these little babies - it took about a week to identify the right buds to fit my ears to eliminate all external noise and to ensure best possible bass sound. If you buy & think that the sound and comfort are not great, keep trying with different variations of buds. Have a look at the UE video under 'user guide': (www.ultimateears.com).

So, great sound for music, however these monitors are let down by the microphone which is built in for iPhone - tests on various messages left for myself on my voicemail have confirmed that whilst the sound is significantly better for people at the other end of the conversation than the Apple headset included with the iPhone, my voice is still not particularly clear. It could just be that because of their very nature (ie necessarily very small to be included inline) they are not capable of performing to a high level. I do feel that this aspect could be improved.

Its well worth spending the extra money to buy these. They are light, well made and good-looking, more importantly the sound is amazing (detailed, good highs and lows, not blown out with bass).

They come with multiple tips, a carry case and flight adaptors.

They are so much better than the other headphone's with inline remotes for the iphone, ive tried a few such as V-Moda's etc.

Buy these and you wont regret it!

I'll keep this one short & sweet or sour depending on how you see it...
First off these UE's look great & feel well made but that's where it ends, the sound is soo quiet, the bass is far too low and the ear tips are all way to BIG so they don't stay in, I sent mine back the next day as to be fair they didn't sound much better than the Apple earphones at nearly 5 times the price!
