Marware Sport Grip for iPhone 3G
Great cover, but damages phone over time.

I've had this cover for a few months now and it's really good, does a great job of protecting from scratches and minor drops.
However, after a few months the tiny pieces of dust and things that inevitably get into the case behind the phone and stuff get pushed into the iPhone body a lot and end up embedded almost in the casing of the phone leaving unsightly marks and scratches over the phone. I've tried removing them thinking it was just encrusted dirt but can't, sadly their permament.(10 of 11 people found this review useful)

Do you have a pet?

This is a great case, fits snuggly whilst allowing access to all the features and functions of the phone. It is nice and slim and doesn't bulk the phone up unlike many other cases. I didn't use the screen film so can't comment on how good that is.
My one issue with this case is that it seems to attract pet hairs...like a magnet! I'm still glad I have it though.(10 of 11 people found this review useful)

Marware Sport Grip for iPhone 3G
Exceeds expectations

I wanted something that would protect the phone properly but would not interfere with the functionality. Well, I'm pleased that I chose this product. I would prefer that this case would have tackier feel to it, but it certainly is not as slippery as iPhone in itself is and surprisingly, does not slide that easily across tables, so you will not drop your phone that easily off the nightstand when the phone wakes you up, for example.
As for the screen protector, I had pretty good success with it. Better than I had with the Invisible Shield.(8 of 8 people found this review useful)

Excellent product!

I bought this case as I was looking for something to protect my new iPhone 3G as much as possible.
I found this one and the guy at the Apple store said that he was using one and it was a really good choice, so I gave it a try. I am really pleased with it as it protects the iPhone as I want. I was first not convinced with the idea to have part of the screen covered by the case. In the end you get used to it and is also a good idea, as most of the screen protectors tend to be deficient in those areas. This case and the screen protector that comes with it or other of your choice are the perfect combination to get protection on most of the phone's surface.

Best Case !

the rubber is smooth and silky to touch, but thats not the main reason.
it covers the home button protecting it, it covers the volume and on/off button also and it doesn't slip off like the belkin version i had before. yes its a little thicker, but much more durable and protective.(12 of 12 people found this review useful)

Brilliant case

I chose this case over the Incase version because I preferred the smoother feel of this silicone compared to the pattern they put on the back of the other one.
I particularly liked the chunky sticky-out coverings on the lock and volume buttons that allows you to find and press them easily while in your pocket. I failed to apply the screen protector properly the first time, so that was a bit wasted, however, if you're patient and apply it properly (unlike me) I'm sure it would work well.(8 of 8 people found this review useful)

Fantastic case for the iPhone. Easy to hold, doesn't slip off of surfaces, and won't slide out of jacket pockets. A must-have.

Ideal...

Went into Regent St. quite prepared to spend £30 on a case & thankfully didn't have to. All the hard cases appear ok but threaten to split open if dropped really & it's all down to this dock access... I personally am not a 'docker' so this has no bearing on my choice.
It fits great, screen protector is fine ( dunno what people expect from them ) & it actually looks good. I had wanted something that would show the Apple logo through the back but it looks great anyway. I also imagine it'll take a good 'knock' but I hope to God that never happens. Great accessory for an amazing product!
Apparently the Apple geeks & freaks in store choose this one which is a good recomendation also I think.

Marware Sport Grip for iPhone 3G
Greatly Displeasing

Seeing the number of scratches on my old phone, I had to get something to protect my shiny new iPhone. This seemed like a good product. I even looked at it out of the box in the Regent Street store.
Unfortunately, the iPod lost all of it's sleek feel when inside this case, but that's to be expected. It's definitely not made for easy removal, so forget the idea of taking the phone out when convenient. It also makes use of a dock almost impossible.
The anti-cling film is almost impossible to apply without dust getting on the adhesive, or scarring of the adhesive. The plastic window tends to make contact with the screen giving dark patterns where your finger has been, even with the anti-cling film installed. Even aside of the patterns, the screen is somewhat harder to see through the window, and just doesn't looks so good.
In my opinion, the Sport Grip does not live up to the quality standard of it's warranty as it is not possible to stop the nasty contact-patterns from occurring on the screen. In addition the particular item I purchased turned out to have some scratches and marks on the inside of the window too. This may not be the case with every item, but it does suggest it's prone to marking and damage.
All-in-all, this product makes the iPhone loose almost all of it's convenience and tactile sleekness. I have come to realise that the iPhone's charm is partly in it's look and feel, and wrapping it permanently up in a case destroys this aspect. I'm going to return my Sport Grip and purchase a simple leather sleeve instead.
