I would like to use the Tb drive for my own uses as a second drive but no dice. That would be nice. I put an external drive on it but could not see it. I think I need an NTFS format to do that.

A Must Have

I bought the Time Capsule 1TB about two weeks after purchasing my MacBook Pro. It replaced my Linksys G router. The speed differ…Read moreence was incredible for both iphone and MacBook. Backup was flawless. I also use it as a hard drive. I've transferred pictures and video straight to it that I want to store and use at a later date so as to not put in on the computer's hard drive. I love the wireless aspect and ability to access the hard drive when I'm not at home. I think upgrading to the 2TB is a must and natural progression though the 1TB gives you plenty to work with at a cheaper price. Anyhow, for me, the three best Apple products are the MacBook Pro, Time Capsule, and iphone. I will always upgrade and keep these products in my home as they are seemless and awesome.
