  2. (2) 1TB = 1 trillion bytes. Actual formatted capacity less.

    A no brainer

Once the price dropped I jumped on this deal and haven't looked back. This was the easiest router I have ever setup. The Time MaRead morechine hooked up and synced seamlessly. It is extremely speedy. To have two devices in one to me makes sense. It saves space and reduces clutter. A no brainer. Enjoy!

Just got my 1Tb unit today 8/12/09. It kept complaining it could not mount the drive until I upgraded the software from the net. Read more I was using 802.1b and this airport i MUCH faster! It saw my HP 1600 laser printer but the HP doesn't support the mac!!! Thanks HP!
I would like to use the Tb drive for my own uses as a second drive but no dice. That would be nice. I put an external drive on it but could not see it. I think I need an NTFS format to do that.
Bottom line, its still worth the price but could have more utility.

    A Must Have

I bought the Time Capsule 1TB about two weeks after purchasing my MacBook Pro. It replaced my Linksys G router. The speed differRead moreence was incredible for both iphone and MacBook. Backup was flawless. I also use it as a hard drive. I've transferred pictures and video straight to it that I want to store and use at a later date so as to not put in on the computer's hard drive. I love the wireless aspect and ability to access the hard drive when I'm not at home. I think upgrading to the 2TB is a must and natural progression though the 1TB gives you plenty to work with at a cheaper price. Anyhow, for me, the three best Apple products are the MacBook Pro, Time Capsule, and iphone. I will always upgrade and keep these products in my home as they are seemless and awesome.

The Time Capsule makes backing up both painless and customizable. Security conscious? Different passwords for administering netwoRead morerk and backup. More data than can fit? Exclude whatever folders or disks you like. Love redundancy? Keep the Capsule itself mirrored on an external drive as well. Oh, and the built-in Airport access / signal boost means one less single-purpose device to keep plugged in!
