    What a great keyboard

I recently purchased a 24" IMac. After 17 years as a PC user I'll never go back to a PC. I bought this keyboard to work with GaragRead moreeband on my IMAC, and I must say it is fantastic. I played music on the IMac for hours. This keyboard is simple to use just plug & play and is anesthetically pleasing to the eyes. For someone like me who is new to music, this keyboard in conjunction with Garageband you can make all kinds of music, simple and fun. For the price you can't go wrong, oh by the way for those few who said this keyboard doesn't work with Leopord, they are wrong, just plug & play!!!!

I recently purchased the M-Audio Keystudio 49 from Apple and upon recieveing it in the mail I was very excited to begin productionRead more. Upon installing it's drivers I realized it was not compatible with my Windows system... Windows XP Media Center Edition... come on!? To top it off I could not even get it to work with my 2008 MacBook Pro... It would show up in GarageBand with Midi signal but I couldn't get a peep out of it...Pretty Much A Cheap Piece of Junk Keyboard that isn't compatible with some types of Windows XP and apparently OSX as well...

    A Great Purchase!

I've been using this keyboard for around 3 years. I was a music major in college and used this mainly for writing purposes. It synRead morecs perfectly with Garageband and is perfect for synth/drum use. The touch on this is a little off. You have to be careful when using strings or piano on this because of the touch. After about two years of hard use, some of the keys started to get sticky, but it's probably because of all the miles it's got on it. Don't get this keyboard if you're looking for perfect sensitivity or weighted/semi-weighted keys. It's a great midi controller. Alongside Garageband, this keyboard is great for anyone doing solo work or small projects. Anything more professional, look at the 61 keystation or atleast one with weighted keys.

Very disappointed it doesn't work with Leopard

I am new to the mac community and making music was the whole reason I purchased a mac in the first place. I was very excited to geRead moret this keystudio 49 and I had huge plans to use this on my new mac. Problem is my mac is brand new 20" alum with Leopard installed. This keystudio is not even recognized by the mac, and furthermore; the M-audio website for support doesn't even have an idea when the drivers will be released to use this product with new imacs. Kind of hard to believe that when Steve Jobs revealed the new leopard OS he talked of the great relationship apple has with m-audio. I beg to differ my friend.
