The jack connecting directly to the phone is broken.
I purchased this back in December for a January trip.
LOVED the combo car/w…Read moreall plug charge feature, however, the portion of the charger which connects to the phone has bent and twisted to the point it no longer works. Now I'm hoping INCASE will honor it's 1 year warranty.

my second one of these just broke and no longer charges my iPhone. Thought this was a great idea combining a car and wall charger…Read more. Unfortunately, this is like a long line of products sold in America that is defective. Even though, the charger received no trauma, it no longer makes contact with my iphone adequate to charge it. I returned the first one after a week or so and received a second one. The second lasted a few months. Thus, i strongly recommend against buying this as it will likely fail with routine use. They need to take it back to the drawing board and redesign it to with stand normal everyday use! This brings up another issue that Apple uses proprietary equipment and dooms it's loyal customers to buy extremely over priced 'wires' to charge it's equipment but i will save this for a later date.

I have been using the car charger for about 5 days now. I've only got the "this is not compatable with the iphone" error once. A…Read morend that was on the first day.
The only thing I see as an issue is that it does not support a USB hook up. So my Apple AV composite converter wont hook up with it, and I have to order another one. Other than that, its very nice to have a wall and car charger in one.(139 of 187 people found this review useful)
