I didn't even read the directions. Pried the cable out of the package, plugged one end into my shuffle (the little square aluminum…Read more one) and stuck the other end in the "aux in" jack on the dashboard of my car. Pressed 'Aux" and voila, music. I can turn the volume up and down, and the iPod on and off, but have to advance to next song on the shuffle using the shuffle tuner. Don't know why the car stereo tuner used for the CD player won't work. But small gremlin to deal with. $20 buck, and I have all my good tunes without ever having to burn another CD or even buy a new iPod. I am happy happy.

I plug this into my car and the cord end of the plug has to be bent in order to close my center console. I thought this would weak…Read moreen the connection and eventually break the plug, but I was pleasantly surprised. I've had this for almost a year and it's withstood many things that have broken my other AUX plugs.

My choice was Monster's cable and I'm totally happy with my purchase! It does give a great sound with superb clearity indeed (no static at all)!!! It is also very small and short yet just about right length. Now I have thousands of songs in my car at all times!!! Yay~~~!!!
