    Cord Rips!

    Written by BB from Yardley

    Apr 1, 2009

This cord has broken on me TWICE now! For some reason, I considered the first time it ripped my own fault, so I didn't exchange itRead more at the store but, instead, bought a whole NEW one. Now THIS one is ripped at the same spot as well (right where the cord attaches to the piece that actually inserts into the phone), and I'm now out $80 with no headphones!

Other than that, they work great, but this is ridiculous! Anyone else have this problem?

    there's a better alternative

    Written by SP from Mississauga

the deal breaker on these is the lack of ability to answer calls while the phone is tucked away or in a pocket - PLUS the fact thaRead moret you cant change tracks on the fly like you can with the stock iphone earbuds.

An alternative Ive found is Shure's music phone adapter. It's cheaper than this kit plus you can change tracks and play/pause all in addition to having a mic on the chord. Speaking of chord, it bring me to the only gripe to this setup. The chord legnth will be just a little more than you need.

the stock QC3 chord plus the shure mpa = just under 6 feet, nothing a cable tie can't fix.

hope this is of some help.

Mobile kit + Bose headphones = clear sound and calls.

    Written by HP from Tucson

I purchased this kit along with a standard set of Bose headphones on ear headphones for my iphone. The sound of the headphones whRead moreile listening to music are wonderful and when talking with people on the phone I ask and am told they are able to hear me loud and clear. As for the lack of a on off button on the microphone, the phone shuts off automatically at the end of a call and answering the call is a tap on the screen. I would recommend this kit to anyone as well as the headphones, even though they are pricey.

    Does its job, but barely.

Calls come in clear and microphone channels voice clearly.
However, the major flaw in design is that there is no button to answerRead more or drop calls. That has to be done with the phone.

This is quite an omission by Bose. Stick with the Apple iPhone earphones.

    A Must for iPhone Users

    Written by LH from ATLANTA

The QuietComfort 3 Mobile Communication Kit is a must have for any AC3/iPhone user. I travel quite a bit in my job, and being ablRead moree to receive calls and enjoy my music is a nice luxury. When receiving calls on my iPhone with a hands free kit such as this, I usually have my iPhone in my hand to see who is calling or browsing my calendar, contacts, email, or the web. Given this fact, I don't miss the pickup/end call button from the standard iPhone headphones. I would even bet most people don't know about the button on the standard headphones. Given the clarity of the phones calls I make with the Bose mobile kit and the level of integration it brings to the iPhone, I say the Mobile Kit is a must.
