1) The JPA is designed as a case so that the spare battery is always with you. Unfortunately, this is exactly the problem with it. I don't want the extra bulk all the time. I only want the spare juice when I need it. Example: I was on the phone and got the 20% power remaining warning. With the Kensington, I just picked it up and plugged it in during the call. With the JPA, the iPhone needed to already be in the case to get the extra juice.
2) The power capacity of the Kensington allows multiple charges, which is really useful, especially if ...
3) ...you have multiple USB charged devices, such as an iPhone, an iPod Classic, the wife's iPhone, the kid's iPod, and the kid's USB cell phone. I can supply emergency juice for all of these devices with one Kensington.(5 of 5 people found this review useful)

I bought this because I read the reviews and I've been nothing but please.
My primary reason for purchasing it is because I'm go…Read moreing to take a flight over seas and the flight there and back each flight is going to be between 5 to 7 hours. I've been testing the charger and it has done exactly as advertised.
Having tested it it recharges my touch three times. More than enough for my needs. So I look forward to using it on the flight.
It even recharged my cell phone. When I charged my cell phone it only had enough for one charge, but it was an option when a electric plug wasn't available.
Would suggest this for anyone needs that extra power for more time to use the touch.(10 of 11 people found this review useful)
