Overview
The iHM77 speakers attach to each other magnetically in a capsule shape for the ultimate in portability. They separate and extend for surprisingly big stereo sound that must be heard to be believed. The iHM77 includes two amplified speakers with built-in rechargeable batteries, vacuum bass expansion, and USB charging, along with a protective carrying case.

I had to turn my iPod touc…Read moreh up all the way and turn my stereo up to max to hear Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd (a very quiet song). With these little wonders my iPod only had to be at one half to three quarters volume.
The cord is a little confusing and messy though. I would give in four and one half stars but you can't do half's on this.
Over all they are great and I would definitely buy them again and recommend them to any body that needs portable speakers without breaking the bank.(16 of 18 people found this review useful)

these litte things are great..... theyre easy to bring around anywhere to use with a group of friends (everyone is shocked by the …Read moresound that comes from these puppies)...they became my permanent laptop speakers for music and movies too cause theyre SOO much louder and clearer than the built in ones on the macbook pro
the rubberized finish feels nice and i cant get over the 'twist to expand' feature..theres a slightly audible hiss when the speakers are on while charging but thats easily drowned out by the music...battery lasts very long too....already bought a 2nd set for a friend..you will NOT be disappointed(482 of 514 people found this review useful)

Ok, fine thats one word, but don't compare my grammatical tendencies to my insight on rating products. I bought these little spea…Read morekers about a week ago and when I looked at these wimpy, dinky, insignificantly minuscule speakers I was having second thoughts about what I just bought. But once again looks can be deceiving. I was in complete awe when these little guys pumped out sound you thought came from a much larger set up speakers. Not only do they sound better than a lot of other desktop speakers, they are smaller, cheaper, more aesthetically pleasing, and USB powered. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention they're portable! It doesn't say what the battery life is on these things but i've used them for over 6 hours using battery on a moderate volume level. All in all these speakers greatly exceeded my expectations and i would recommend these speakers to anyone looking for some small portable speaker! it scored 9/10 on all aspects of my personal electronics rating system and you should not take that lightly seeing as how I'm a huge pessimist when it comes to gadgets. So give yourselves a pat on the back iHome design team for making me a devote promoter of your product and a very satisfied customer!
