I bought this case in December shortly after buying my iphone. I love the clip! We usually rent movies on itunes for plane trips…Read more and the stand makes it easier for two of us to see the screen. Also, about 2 months ago, I dropped my phone into the river. It was fished out the next day with a rake and scraped against many rocks in the process. The case stayed in tact and protected it perfectly. Once I took the case off, the phone looked brand new (although very water-logged!). I bought another one for my new phone and have talked several other people into the case and they love it as well.

I usually keep my phone in my pocket, so lint and dust got i…Read morento the case, and it spotted all over back in ugly, gray dots, all over my brand new black iPhone 3G. So, I initially accepted it, thinking the case would protect my phone from scratches and dust, as well as cracking the screen. When I dropped it on concrete, a hardwood floor, or any other hard surface, the case would spit open. The first time I dropped it, I had realized that the phone's shiny bezel was all marked up by the dust and dirt stuck under the case. As time went on, the case got in worse and worse condition, and after 2 months, the tabs holding the case together at the top had both come off. at about 2 1/2 months, it finally happened. I dropped the phone from waist height on a concrete basement floor, and not only did the case come off as it usually would, my 2 1/2 month old iPhone 3G had a massive spiderweb crack in the glass on the screen. Not only does this case not look good on your phone after a week, but it gives you a false sense of security that your phone is protected from drops of over 2ft. DO NOT BUY if you intend to use it for over 2 weeks.

i am ruff on stuff so keep that in mind but this has lasted about 3 months and then i am starting to have the same problems a few …Read moreothers have had and that is when i am getting a call and reach down to get it out of the case over and over and over agian on the same hip with the same arm on the same corner of the phone it has worn on that one corner and now does not want to stay locked when you put pressure on it but will stay locked other wise. just switched hips and prob solved for another 3 months. good product

How long did we have to wait for this to appear, let me count the months..and months...and months!!
This was hands down THE BES…Read moreT jacket/clip combo for the 1st gen iphone and I thought for sure when the 3G was released the folks at Power Support would have a similar case ready at launch.
No such luck. After literally checking the Apple store online and in-person WEEKLY it took them nearly 5 months to finally release it.
But now that it's finally here, rest assured you will not find a more aethestically-appealing and protective hard case for your precious investment. The case itself really showcases the phone through it's clear covering and doesn't add unnecessary bulk. The belt clip holds the phone securely in place so there's little fear of it snapping out on it's own during strenuous activity. That's the key. Take it from someone who's already dropped his phone, broken the glass and had to get a replacement by using a different case. Ugh!
Don't believe any negative reviews you may read about this case. They're all lies! LOL. Just get it. You won't be disappointed on any level.(243 of 265 people found this review useful)

I also ha…Read mored a rubber sleeve that covered the back, it worked well but you couldn't see the back. THE BEAUTY of Apple products is that they are....well....Beautiful. They are engineered to be functional and nice to look at. This cases is perfect, it offers great protection, it shows off the phone, now everyone will know that you have an iPhone and the clip is magnificent. I absolutely love the stand that flips out. Overall Great Product, throw your other cases away!
