    Not Worth the Money

Written by NL from bonney lake

I bought these headphones a few months ago, and was very satisfied with them. However, after a few weeks, I noticed that the silicone ear tips constantly came off. I finally lost one of them last week, and am now using Bose head phone, which I think are much better.

    absolutely horrible

really noisy through cable, not much bass response even when properly seated, returned after 5 minutes of owning. The ones that come with the iPhone sound better...

    Bad for working out

    Written by JH from Astoria

Love the fit. Love the sound. But now after less than a year I'm going to be returning them since they are unusable while working out. Not sure if it's the movement or an issue with sweat getting in there but after a few minutes of working out my ipod starts to spontaneously pause songs. Tried other headphones with my ipod and did not have the same problem. If you're going to use these while working out stear clear! it's a shame, they're great in every other way.

    iPhone 3.0 (3Gs) Compatible!

The in-ears are now compatible with 3.0 and 3Gs (haven't tried on the 3G). Volume control works and holding the Play/Pause button down works for Voice Control.

These are great headphones; comparable to much more expensive sets and now with the compatibility they are awesome!

    Under water feeling

Written by JC from ALISO VIEJO

The only thing that attracted me to this pair were the controls & supposedly they sounded better but I can't get passed the "Under water" sound & feel of these in ear buds. When I place them in my ear it feels & sounds like I just dunked my head underwater! They don't sound that much better than the normal stock ear buds that come with your iPod or iPhone.

    Okay sound. Terrible fit!

Okay I've wanted to get these earphones the day apple announced them! The sound was said to be great and the remote a handy feature. I have a second gen iPod Touch, so these go perfect with it. Wrong. I had no problem with the standard apple earphones, I really like them, but, these were supposed to be above and beyond. Well, they weren't. The sound is just as good as the standard ones and no matter what size I use, they always fall out. For this price I expected better from apple. I love the company, I might be its #1 fan, but these earphones stink.

    Good Sound, Poor Construction

    Written by AW from Toronto

I loved these earphones at first because the sound is excellent, but only a few weeks after getting them (I used the earphones a grand total of 35 mins a day, while commuting) the small-sized earbud cover popped off one of the earphones. I also received innumerable SHOCKS to my inner each, which hurt and were annoying.
I figured the covers popping off was a fluke, until the second small one popped off, as did the two middle-sized ones.
Granted I live in Canada and it's cold during the winter, but there's no reason the covers should pop off without even being touched!!
Now I'm resigned to using the large size covers (which I had to affix with a glue) and the stupid earphones don't fit in my ears anymore; they're constantly falling out. Also, the grey bit at the top of the wire that connects the earphone to the wire is lose, and has exposed the black wire underneath.
When I called Apple to inquire about BUYING new covers, I was told they aren't provided and I should just go ahead and buy a whole new set of earphones. Not likely.
Despite the quality sound, with all the problems I've had with my very light and careful use of these earphones, I definitely will never buy them again.

silicone ear tips come off easily!

    Written by RD from SCARBOROUGH

    Jun 19, 2009

The silicone tips have gotten stuck in my ears a few times. HEALTH/SAFETY HAZARD! They also fall off of the earbuds while carrying them. EASY TO LOSE! Sound is great but you may need to invest in more silicone ear tips... which only comes with a new set of earbuds. Talk about a costly investment...

Sub-$100 In ear set that beats out many higher priced sets.

    Written by JB from Coralville

I have to echo the statements that this in-ear set definitely out performs many sets well above the price range these fall into. I had been looking for a good pair of in-ear buds with inline remote for my phone for some time, the upgrade to the 3Gs coming friday gave me the opportunity to consider these. Using this with my first gen iPhone now and the sound quality is amazing. With all in-ear buds the fit of buds highly depends on your ear, but usually I have to go with the large fit-pieces to fit my big ears but I put the mediums that come shipped on the buds in my ears and it was perfect. I was able to lower the volume significantly and still get the definition of the music I desired which is a big plus over standard earbuds, I won't go deaf as quickly. They work wonderfully in my office when I want to drown out surrounding distractions and just focus on a task. These are highly recommended, save your hearing, block out distractions effortlessly, and get the fidelity of your music back. Thanks Apple for providing a high quality bud for iPod/iPhone.
