STM Small Alley Shoulder Bag
Poor Quality
Written by PK from Tlell

This bag is very disapointing!
The bag itself has a good stylish design for holding the notebook with minimal extras.
The quality of the materials however is substandard.
The zippers are stiff and split within the first couple of weeks. Then required careful coaxing to make them close. To top it off one of the front pockets ripped wide open with minimal stress.
I would not recommend this bag.

STM Small Alley Shoulder Bag
Perfect!

This bag is very small and the perfect size if you just want to haul around a notebook without much else. The padding is adequate, and the notebook section actually has its own flap, so it's pretty solidly held together. The bag itself is of decent quality, which is pretty good for $40.
All I carry in it is my MacBook and power adapter, and occasionally I'll throw a mouse in the cellphone case, but it can't hold much more than that: maybe a folder or two in the back zippered section.(10 of 11 people found this review useful)

Great choice!

I purchased the bag for my Macbook Pro. I was a little hesitate because I was not able to find any reviews about the bag and Macbook Pros, only the Macbook's. This is a very affordable bag, I was comparing it to some at REI for $100+. The only thing it really lacks is a safe spot for your iPod or iPhone. I have to put my iPhone in with all my pins and pencils causing led from the pencils to get get on my iPhone. But it doesn't bother me much... Very stylish! Doesn't feel "fat" when your wearing it.

Love this bag!

I use this bag for school and around town. It is a great bag because it is not bulky like other laptop bags. I usually carry my macbook in its neoprene sleeve, my medium sized accounting book, a small/slim composition book, the power cable, some pens, and my ipod. It's perfect because I do not need to carry a purse or laptop bag. I just throw everything in this bag, and no one can tell I am carrying my macbook. The neoprene sleeve does cause the bag to have a little less space, but I would rather have it water proofed and scratch resistant. I highly recommend this bag. Keep in mind that this bag is for a minimalist it is not designed to take more than one medium sized text book or two thin textbooks.

STM Small Alley Shoulder Bag
Great bag!

I purchased this for my new Aluminum 13 Inch Macbook. It fits perfectly, with room for the powerbrick and the extension end, random other cables, my phone and probably some books with out looking stuffed.
Design seems pretty solid. I'm not worried that my Macbook is going to fall to the ground.
The section where my computer goes has a flap cover(secured by velcro) and then the main flap covers that(also secured by velcro). Between the to flaps, there is very little room for debris to get in. I wouldn't take it out in a rainstorm, but why would I do that anyway.
My only concern prior to purchasing the bag was that it would like a little small when being worn but that concern was put to rest once I received it.
Overall, I am exceptionally happy with this bag. Great style, size, construction and more pockets than I could use, especially considering the price. Cheers to STM for a great product.(12 of 13 people found this review useful)

Looks great, feels great, holds everything I need to carry. Pocket is the perfect size for the MacBook, and there are plenty of pockets in front of the notebook compartment for additional storage. Perfect when you need to travel light!

STM Small Alley Shoulder Bag
Perfect little bag - with room.

I am currently a student at a University in Victoria, BC - Canada. Its like a tropical rain forest here.
I am telling you this because, with the weather here, it is consistently raining as well as snowing throughout the winter months and the STM Bag really protects my Black MacBook.
As well as my MacBook, I can fit a maximum of 2 textbooks which are about 1.5 - 2 inches thick when put together. As well, on top of the textbooks, the power cable, a cellphone, a thick highlighter and pens, as well as a scarf. The bag is comfortable and adjustable to different lengths from its strap. The material is highly durable, and it is really slim and out of the way when you want to store it.
This is not the bag for you if you plan to take more than what I have mentioned, but for minimalism and protection of your notebook - it is perfect. IF you need a bigger bag I would recommend any of the Incase Nylon backpacks.

STM Small Alley Shoulder Bag
Like A Glove!!!
Written by DB from South Porcupine

The Small Alley is smaller than I thought, it's like a glove! It looks like a bag for books, not computers... and that's good! It has rip-stop construction, and that's good too; the military uses rip-stop! I'd give it 5 stars, but it's still new, except... for a small cut that it came with. ??? Someone got jealous! I'm not lying, but don't worry, it's fine!
