    nice!

these are some of the best sounding small speakers that i've ever owned. there's plenty of bass, and they don't sound like a little set of overpowered tweeters either. the design is nice too, you can tilt the speakers how you want for a better sound. another thing i like is that it has it has the line in/ av out inputs so i can use it with devices other than my ipod as well. plus it just looks good.

Overall like product but fit is a problem

I like the product. Portability and sound quality. However, it says it works with all ipod nano's but it did not come with an insert to fit my 4th generation nano. Instead I had to use the white insert that came with my nano so I have a black player with a white insert which looks terrible. When I asked at the Apple store if they had the inserts in black they told me they don't make those and it was up to the maker of the iHome.

    Annoying

This is almost a great product. I would recommend one of the other similar products from iHome, just not this one.

The clock backlight is SOOO bright, even on the lowest dimmer setting that it can't be used in your bedroom - I have to turn the backlight off at night to sleep which defeats the purpose of having a clock in your room (I can just hit the snooze button to show the clock but this is a pain).

The sound quality is great. I love the fact that it has a day-light savings switch.

    No radio is a pain.

Generally, I like it very much

I like the size and the shape. It is simple to use. The sound quality is generally very good, although if you play it really loud, it begins to distort after a while. It is capable of playing loudly enough to enjoy while taking a shower. When it turns the iPod on in the morning, to wake you up, it increases the volume gradually. I also like that you can control precisely what you will wake up to - if the iPod is paused at the beginning of a song when you go to sleep, that is what you will hear when you wake up. My only complaint is that they don't include the remote - they make you pay an extra $20, which is a bit cheesy, in my opinion.

I must say I read the reviews and was skeptical but i went to the store and it sounded just as good as some of the 180 dollar models i love it so far. Bass clarity is unbelievable with the EXB turned on. Look for a follow up but i love this thing so far.

I had an Altec Lansing b4 I got these for Xmas from a family friend and I am ABSOLUTELY AMAZED AT THE PORTABILITY AND SOUND QUALITY OF THESE SPEAKERS, these may not be the GOD of Speakers but its good enough to fill my room and be heard in the next without difficulty. My only gripe is the fact that the remote has a bad connection sometimes but other wise for what you get its an AMAZING product!

I bought this product for my iphone 3g, because I was worried about the "incompatability error" with other products that "claim" to be iphone compatable. I am VERY satisfied with this item. At first I was a little worried that it might be a bit on the clunky side, but its actually a decent size. The sound quality is amazing and pretty loud if need be. One little nifty thing I love about it is the fact that when you receive a call, your ring tone will play through the speakers! Definitely worth the money. Highly reccomend.

I was looking for a simple iPhone alarm clock / speaker system for my bedside table. Overall this is a great product.

    Pros
    1) Sound quality is great, on par with much bigger and more expensive products. There this 3D sound enhancement button--I just keep this on all the time
    2) Looks good and works well with my black iPhone 3G
    3) Can seamlessly take phone calls when listening to songs and charging up the phone
    4) Feels well built and sturdy, seems like it can stand up to some abuse
    5) Folding speaker design, you can lay it completely flat or adjust the angle of the sound

    Cons
    1) The design is a bit boring, it is black and square just like all other iPod speakers on the market
    2) Finish is shiny like a piano, so it is easy to get dirty
    3) This product is advertised as a portable speaker, presumably to take to the hotel room on vacations or business trips. But in my opinion the luxury of waking up to my own songs at a hotel room is not worth having to pack an extra item, though this product does come with a padded carrying case. I primarily use this product at home.
